I recently picked up a Can-Am Outlander 570 DPS from Blackman's Cycle Center located in Emmaus, PA. From the reliability, dealer support, comfort, and the Visco-Lok technology, I'm definitely looking forward to years of enjoyment on the trails with this bike! Considering this is the first ATV I've owned (I grew up riding go-karts and had a Honda CRF 150 dirt bike), I wanted to make sure we brok...

wtf bike???
Nice looking machine!!
I have a 2021 570 outlander that only has 36 miles on it
Do you guys ever ride in Mines and Meadows? Great place!
Just let you know that it pulled a mini van that got stuck in my driveway. Pulled it with no problem at all.
Great video
Take a Grizzly for a rip 😈
Just got a 2022 today love it
I have a 2021 model and it never ceases to amaze me, it can sit happily at 20 mph on a trail or run just as comfortably at 65-70 mph on pavement, the only 2 things I could ever complain about is, it’s a bit of a gas hog from my experience (sure probably doesn’t help when you run highway speeds) I’d like personally if it had a bigger tank than just 5 gallons, and the other is it runs hot, my average temp is about 195 degrees, and that’s a complaint I’ve noticed a lot of owners make, it makes riding in the summer pretty uncomfortable and I’ve noticed that it’ll cause the fuel tank to “vent” from the heat, making that awful sound after several hours of hard riding
2020 basic here. We've torn a boot and I have east lake axles on the way. Otherwise going strong.
cool bike can't wait to get mine
Second time I have watched this video. I subscribed after the first one a year plus ago and am really surprised why you don’t have more. Your video is outstanding in quality and very professional.
What song is in background?
4 can am outlander 570 making machine I need every monthly send me farm veng district let go
I like the outlander 570 For both machines I own 2019 after 3000 miles they would hesitate when half fuel tank. One tank was cracked
Need fuel controller for the heat
I dont like it the engine gets to hot ,if they fix theat in 2021 it wood be awsome, now polaris al day al night !!!
Canadians sure do know how to make a good atv
Hey, the land you was riding on in the video, was it private or public?
Loved the video and subscribed! When are we seeing some more atv content from you guys? Would love to get some more of this🤘
I have a 2021 can am outlander 570. I love it! Got two buddies with a Max 570 and a XMR 570
Whats the engine heat when you ride my 2018 was so hot it burn my legs lol is it beter on the 2021 ?
@@markojagar6658 engine heat isn’t too bad, it does get hot but I ride with pants on so it doesn’t feel too bad at all. I ride in areas with water and I go in big puddles too so it cools down. I ride sometimes for about 6 hours on and off and it’s not bad at all
My gas cap on my 2012 1000 did that when it was hot.
What plough did you put on it?
I Got a 2020 outlander max. leaks antifreeze on the thermostat housing..and smells antifreeze ..dealer said they fixed it .still smells it,1500klm on it ..
Liked your review. Buying some all terrain vehicles for myself. You’ve helped. The only complaint is that it’s a quadratic machine rather than a bike. 👍
you probably found out by now but you need to wrap the pipe so it doesn't run so hott on your legs
I’ve got the 2018 570L DPS and I love it. I had mine in for some warranty work and I’ll agree Blackman’s is a top notch dealership!
We take them out of the crate and race them xc. Great machines.
The lack of a locking diff is the main reason I wouldn't buy a can am. visco-lok is crap.
Just bought a 2021 570 loving it so far it’s been great! Sadly the dealer ship did not put in the side pins to the plastics but I ordered some online love this fourwheeler and sounds amazing!!
Is it still doing good? I can’t decide on a can-am outlander 570 or a Honda foreman 4x4.
@@LiveLaughLove81 yeah man doing great no problems out of it almost at 10 house the only thing is the fuel vent started making a howling noise but it was the dealerships fault due to the way they put it together other than that it has plenty of power and sounds like a beast
@@connordover2215 Thanks man
What a great review I’m gonna get me a can am outlander in a few months just not sure if it will be the 850 or 650 or 570 more I think of it for the money can’t beat the 570 I really like the racks on it vs the bigger models but we will just have to wait and see what I end up with can’t wait to see more reviews on this machine from you
How does it compare to an 850cc or 1000?
1000 breaks axles a lot
So im a big guy, 6' and around 275. How would this machine be for me?
330 here it does great
How you liking the 570? Considering getting one. Also considering a 650 xmr. Did yours come with a winch
No, the normal 570 dps doesn’t come w a winch. The 570 XT does
@@itsvik7965 thank you
We're loving our 570! The 650 XMR is an incredible machine. Ours did not come with a winch, but they're pretty simple to install if you have the right tools. We're gearing up for our next video which will most likely be a "how to" video on winch installation. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!
@@openyourcoconut4774 you’re welcome!
@OpenYourCoconut I have the 570 dps and I love it my cousin has the 650 xmr his came with a winch and he loves his I guess its all about preference
After the breaking. Synthetic oil should be used. And if you can find a magnetic plug as plug then that's a good thing. Catching all the metal from the motor is the most important thing for the longevity of any motor.
Another atv video of somebody talking reliability with 10 hours. Lmfao. Put 500 hours on it and then come back and talk.
Well talk at 500 hours! Thanks for the view =)
In addition, we mention “the reliability factor.” Did you miss “we spoke to friends and family that currently own ATVS” the majority of which, are Can-Am owners? Happy riding and thanks again for checking out the video!!!!
@@faderplugsllc2035 Didn't miss it. Just don't believe it. I've learned from personal experience of riding and owning ATV's for 40 years that people don't always tell you everything about their machines. They tend to tell you the good stuff and leave out a lot of bad stuff because they are embarrassed about their choice, or embarrassed that they didn't maintain it properly. Gotta be careful who you listen to. In the end, nothing is better than your own butt on the seat for years to know what you have.
@@utahwanderlust700 as you know from owning machines for over 40 years, maintenance is key (with any machine). Excited to continue to hit the trails and put our machine to the test. Thanks for stopping by and be safe riding!!
Went to my dealership about the speedometer also, cam am has a harness to fix the problem. So far so good.
Had two they are good until they are not. Meaning there riffs like two explode if you use it like it was designed to be used. If you put around it will last
I’m not sure why, but my 2019 570 dps has some alloy wheels stock, I’m not sure if they do that anymore on the dps
Unfortunately they do not! We’re hoping to upgrade the wheels in a few months! Safe riding!
It’s a reminder our fiat currency isn’t worth a damn.
How do you know it is good reliability when you only have 10 hrs. on it? I am looking at an outlander, grizzly or sportsman. I want fun factor with some power. I don't know what size to get. I don't want a slow atv with no power. The grizzly i here is reliable at 700 cc. But does it have power. The outlander 570 do I want a 650 850 or 1000? The polaris is most popular but ugly. So basically if i go with 570 will i regret because it is just a utility vehicle vs. Performance?
Hey Tom! Prior to purchasing the 2020 Outlander 570, I asked current Outlander owners what their thoughts were with regard to the reliability. The majority of current Outlander owners raved about their reliability! How is the search going? The new sportsman looks awesome and I love how they relocated the battery. However, not a fan of the front storage bin - it looks flimsy. The Outlander 570 is sport/utility. I'd recommended checking out Dirt Trax UA-cam channel. Prior to purchasing our 570 I watched a ton of their content. Personally, my next machine will probably be an 850 or 1000. This is my first ATV and I did not want too much power right away. Just a personal preference. However, the V-Twin Rotax engine does have a lot of power. Let us know how else we can help!
@@faderplugsllc2035 Great advice. I only want to make 1 purchase and be content. I think I will follow your next purchase thoughts and check out the 850 outlander or 850 sportsman.
@@tomcat6933 Brute Force 750. Reliability and power.
@@utahwanderlust700 ain’t nobody got time for a broke Force. Unless you love to be at the dealership getting head gaskets fixed or whole engines replaced
@@willvaughan5734 🤣 I've got 24,000 miles on one. Never been to the dealer once. Plus it has awesome power.
Gotta cut the music when you are taking guy
Evan, Thanks for checking out our review! We’ll share your comment with our marketing team. Happy New Year!
I have a 2017 outlander 570 xt i have drove the shit out of it not one problem oh sorry a set of brake pads i have over one thousand hours and 8500 miles its been a beast and it goes like hell 73 mph love it best quad i have ever owned
We’re big fans of the 570!! That’s an amazing testimonial and true testament to the Can-Am brand. When you replaced the brake pads, which company did you go with? Do you have a warn winch on your 570? Happy riding, man!
I have a 2018 570 and I love it not one problem yet. they run hot in summer but it is a V twin and the DPS is a must for me I put a set of mud Lite XL and its a beast !!!
That’s our thought - it’s a V Twin! Sounds like you have an awesome set up. Safe riding can-an fam!
how how do they run in the summer? is it bearable? I live on an island that easily gets 35C+ during the summer and I'd like to do quad tours which would take people up the mountains (~600m above sea level). Do you think it'd overheat?
Who bought these spam comments? Lol
There aren’t any
@@ryanschwark2791 Good on you to remove them. Was a bit embarrassing 😂
Their reliability in Polaris scares me from everything I've read. Like you have done a ton of research. I know the Honda is old technology but I'm a Honda guy to begin with and I know these things are brick reliable. But I've been looking at the 570 the Honda Foreman and Suzuki King Quad 500. Trying to make up my mind is tough when it's your hard-earned cash on the line
Sorry for the delayed response. How is the search going? I had the opportunity to ride a 2019 Honda Rubicon this past weekend. The IRS is incredible and it truly rides like a Cadillac. Honda May be old technology but they are incredibly reliable. Overall, I’m still a fan of Can-Am. I love the V-Twin and comfort of the 570 Outlander. Let me know what other questions you may have!
@@faderplugsllc2035 I was waiting until after the holidays I'm actually going to a couple dealers tomorrow
@@mzondi1970 awesome!! Good luck and again, let us know how we can help!
@@faderplugsllc2035 bought a Honda Rubicon., Honda guy anyway and they treated me the best at the dealership
@@mzondi1970 Hondas are great. I've owned nothing but Hondas (Rancher, Foreman, Rubicon) all bought brand new. I still own the Forman because it is the last of the airccoled 500's. I have ESP on mine. The Rubicon was a nice machine but was too basic for what you paid for. I'm sure it would have been reliable but i wasn't a fan of how that DCT transmission shifted..it was kind of rough. Apparently they fixed that issue but not for my model year (2016) and there was no update on mine. It came to the point where i sold it and decided to go with the 570 Outlander. its my first Can am and I was kind of weary but honestly, for the price, I got more with the Can Am than i did the Honda. You speak of hard earned money and that's where my money went. I was very disappointed when Honda did not try to resolve my issues on the Rubicon. The can am has been great and i have had 0 issues with it. The only thing i don't like about the outlander is the maintenance. You gotta take the machine half apart to do stuff but its one of those things that keeps you busy in the garage. I'll have both the Foreman and Outlander for a while.
650+stage1 conversion =lower temp
I’ve briefly read into the stage 1 converters. Is there a specific manufacturer you recommend?
@@faderplugsllc2035 depends on where you live, if you go with, only unlocking your 570 to 650, (power limitation in ecu the guarantees is not affected, you can do this upgrade by using dealers software with megatech license, or buy it on eBay (buds2) and do it yourself, The software is the same for 570cc and 650cc
@@faderplugsllc2035 Did you ever find the “stage 1 converter” for can am 2020 570l dps? I need this if available, could not find it. I used a fan mod to keep my rad fan on via switch, and I use premium fuel (it does seem to help,) but the engine still runs warmer than I prefer.
🙌 Welcome to the Can-Am family! Here's to many more miles of happy riding to come!
Excited to be part of the Can-Am Fam!
@@faderplugsllc2035 dead channels lmao
Great review - thanks. I just got a 2021 570 and 450 for me and my wife and we like them a lot. I'd sure like to see a video of you installing the winch! I got a couple of winches, and from watching a couple of videos, it looks pretty involved. One thing I've notice on my 570, is a small clunk coming from the transmission sometimes when I engage, disengage the throttle. It sounded the exact same way one time when the transmission wasn't fully engaged, and then when I pressed the throttle it kicked into gear and made the same clunk. Don't know if that's normal or not. I do appreciate your video, well thought out and well produced. Cheers.
Stuart, Thanks so much for the kind words! Congrats on your new purchase! We will definitely release a review of us installing our winch. Which Winch brand do you prefer? I believe what's most involved with winch installation is running the wires/hooking up electric. Regarding the clunking sound - I have not personally experienced that. I would recommend discussing this with your dealer. Have a great rest of your week and safe riding! ~ Blaise
@@faderplugsllc2035 Thanks - I will ask them about it. The clunking doesn't sound horrendous, but could be a problem. I don't have a real opinion on winch brand. I picked up two Can Am 2500s from my dealer. I'm not a mechanic so I'd rather not screw around with weird brands. They also have a 3500, but I'm thinking you start to get diminishing returns pretty quick on winching power. Besides, we're almost always going to be out together, so I figure two 2500s will be good for almost anything. And yes - the location of the wiring, especially the solenoid seems to be the biggest issues. One guy put it way back in the trunk, and the other guy put it underneath the seat. The issue they both mentioned is the bracket up front where you normally put the solenoid seems to be used for some part associated with the power steering system. So I'm pretty interested in seeing what folks do.
