Agree for online games. However, generalizing for offline games is ridiculous; you dont advertise rental as “sale”. If an online game is on my online library it should be same as buying a physical copy and leaving it on my physical library. Therefore, the way companies inform and market online games is not honest.

When you pay for an online game you have to understand that you actually rent it. Servers are expensive to keep and maintain so if they don’t make money from that anymore, they are only losing. Same thing for physical games. The CD not only acts as a license but if the disc gets damaged u cant just ask for a new one, u payed for the CD/box/license not for the ownership of game files. Especially when nowadays u still have to update most the games with a day 1 patch that without it the game will come either incomplete or unplayable due to perf issues.

As someone who owns those two great consoles, I will take the Xbox over the PS most of the time. I love how MICROSOFT keeps all my game saves without punishing me if I don't have the online service. I prefer the ergonomics of the Xbox controller over the PS controller.

PS 5 wins . This gen I first got a xbox series. But Xbox has last who they are and what made this like the days of the 360. But just Sunday I got a PS 5 and I won't be going back. Now I will be only buying Xbox exclusive on Xbox .

I have the Series X and really like it. I see the PS controller as more of a gimmick. Very few games utilize it. Plus, gamepass is incredible
