Was at sellers this morning and couldn't keep the cats off my jig. Changed to rooster tail in white and silver and caught 4 saugeye and two more cats in 45 minutes. Not as good a year as last year.

Do you think the unseasonably high water temp will shut the saugeye down early?

I found out that at buckeye if nothinga biting i cast along the rocks with a rooster tail and crank out crappie or bluegill.

Water is clearer this year as I ever remember it being. The grand kids have been getting some nice stringers with rooster tails, believe it or not. Been working on house full time so can only go play at night. Been doing ok on floating rapalas. They are good tasting huh?.. Tight lines brother..
