Playing this at the local fair in the late 80’s with people around you was something else I’m glad I got to experience it. It wasn’t about the graphics although they were good and still hold up well even today but the atmosphere is something I’ll never forget.
1992, as an 12 years old boy I had a pocket full of 2 DM coins in the arcade hall of the Hansa Park Sierksdrof. I got it to the end sequence and I cried. What a lovely feeling! Never forget! Thank you Yu Suzuki for this time!
I only listened to this music when I played Shenmue Remastered but strangely it stuck in my head, it reminds me of the Mega drive era games I played like ESWAT

I remember having weird dreams about this game when I was a little kid after playing it in an arcade a bunch of times.
I think that was their goal with this game. not really rhyme or reason to anything, just a pure window into the subconscious through gameplay
