Solitude and silence in the mountains can be a blessing sometimes. Climbing the highest mountain of Croatia, Dinara, Signal all alone and by myself while I travel through the Balkan on my way down to Greece and the mediterranean sea. A lot of thoughts went through my mind when I enjoyed the beautiful nature of Croatia and I realized that we can also enjoy the mountains without pushing ourselves...

My 8000er Expedition Boots To Avoid Frostbite
Переглядів 1,5 тис.5 місяців тому
Climbing above 7000m and 8000 meters is extreme! Your hands, fingers, feet, toes, lips, ears and nose are the first parts of your body that get extremely cold and are prone to frostbite. In order to protect our feet we need special equipment and especially great boots for higher altitudes. I explain which expedition boots I am using for my solo non oxygen 8000er climbs to Lhotse, Annapurna and ...
Don't Be Afraid To Fail - Highest Mountain Of Sweden
Переглядів 1,4 тис.5 місяців тому
Climbing big mountains or working on big projects and dreams can be intimidating and sometimes seems impossible. One of the many takeaways from my life as a mountaineer is that we can reach and accomplish our goals, if we truly desire it from the bottom of our heart and if we are courageous enough to face the obstacles. Breaking down a climb to the summit or a big project helps us to get an ove...

Walking three days through the Wadi Rum desert in order to reach the highest mountain of Jordan, Jebel Um Ad Dami 1854m, located right next to the Saudi Arabian border. After the bedouins took me to the Fire Camp with their Jeep I started my hike and navigated through the desert all by myself. I had everything with me, my hiking gear, enough water, a stove to prepare food and even my tent to sp...
New Route On Cho Oyu From Nepal Finally Open
Переглядів 2,9 тис.5 місяців тому
A new route has been opened on the world's 6th highest mountain Cho Oyu 8188m. It is located between Nepal and Tibet and its summit is directly on the border of both nations. Since Covid and for several years Nepalese expeditions tried to open a commercial route from the South Side of Cho Oyu, since it is very hard for western climbers to obtain a permit from the Government authorities and ther...

Why I Failed To Climb Mount Everest Without Oxygen!
Переглядів 12 тис.6 місяців тому
My reflection on my attempt to summit Mount Everest this year without supplemental oxygen. Why did I fail, why did I have to turn around, what did I do wrong and what did I learn one month after the expedition? How do I adapt in the future learning from these mistakes in order to becomea better mountaineer and be successful on my next expedition? Will I continue to climb 8000ers and what is my ...

I swear typing "annapurna summit" doesnt give this video as a result. Incredible achievement.
Thank you for the video. Most trekkers trek to Annapurna Base Camp Sout Face. I would like to see a video story about the approach to north side base camp. Can you put that together. It is so full of history with Terray, Lachinel, Rebuffat, Herzog and others. There was a film made of that epic trip. It has never been translated into English. I would love to see that as well. Thank you
Hey man, hope you are doing well. Miss your videos
Thanks Norrdine. It was good to hear from ya again. Glad you got settled. Your an amazing mountaineer and super cool guy to chat with.😊
I also want to climb these beauties. Congratulations.
How long have you been climbing for? great channel & amazing content.
Hard to find this channel when I forgot it
How are you solo climbing if you are using other sherpas tents ? Just asking for curiosity.
you're amazing
I had problems breathing at 4,900 feat while exercising. At rest my oxygen saturation was dropping to 87%. I can't imagine what it's like up around Everest.
16:30 Who is she?
Wohooo, you summited Annapurna without O2? that is even greater achievement than the everest...after nanga parbat its the second deadliest mountain, big congrats!
Hello, I got a question for you:) If it took you 13 hours from camp 4 to the summit, does it mean you walked 26 hours nonstop to go up and come down to camp 4 again?😮
It is sooo beautiful up there.
Bro is Nima Rinji Sherpa 💀
Glückwunsch! und Respekt, ohne Sauerstoff.
Just Wow. Immense thing to accomplish in life. Unreal
Hi norrdine. Is it possible to climb k2 if you are afraid of heights?
That almost looks safe
Congrats! Greats effort pays off in the end! Nicely done
Great weather you had. Congratulations.
Magnificent view. Many thanks for uploading. Only having seeing that must be quite something in your lifetime. The place itself really needs some small huts . Don't know if that will ever be possible. I know they have it in the Alpes at quite high altitudes .

You're an absolute beast ☢
Solo im Winter wohl nicht so ne gute Idee oder?
Beautiful view, from Annapurna; be careful, up there.💙💛💙
I had a dream I was on Everest and I saw my late father on there throwing a ball to a dog we used to have as kids. I woke up and thought how funny it was, but at the same time really lovely. sorry just thought I’d share that 🙂
Hi, im new to your channel, may I ask why you chose not to use oxygen? The technology to ease the challenges of the dangerously thin air does exist so im curious as to why climbers wouldnt use it. Is it a weight thing? It seems to be an incredibly personal decision from person to person, so i apologize if i have offended. I also apologize if you mention this during the video and i missed it.
Because it's harder.
Tausend Dank für diese tolle Dokumentation zu deinem wahnsinnigen Projekt 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Annapurna is no joke. You had great weather. Good work.
One of the greatst decision you've made even in from little behind.. If you would push yourself little more maybe it would end so tragic. So its not failure its reallu really great and sensible decision..❤ love it and love you..
Don't push to your limits bro. I admire your efforts but it was hard to see you like that.. Wish you luck on next and get completely well too.
Great Achievement.. ❤ great person.
do a speedrun
Why the fuck would anybody want to go there ?!?!?!!??!?!
You didn’t “fail” at anything and reaching the peak of Lhotse without supplemental o2 is incredibly impressive (!) & hopefully you’ll reach the summit of Everest next time 🙂. Wishing you the best of luck & that you stay safe!
Parabéns pela conquista !!!! Saudações do Brasil. Bela montanha ⛰
NICE Next time do it no shirt.
Great to see you! Been watching you for a couple months and I love what you do and what you stand for. Do you know if you will be doing any mountaineering trips in the surrounding areas soon?
