storm bee is quite silent.im getting one.
Come to Brazil!
Oops... 127 kg.
Hi there, I am considering to buy a sur ron storm bee 2023 and i am interested in how far i'll be able to drive with interstate speed (like 100km/h). Since I want to meet two usecases it's important for me to know. Distance to my working place is 30km one way (90% at the Autobahn). I want to make sure that I'll get forth and back without charging at the working place. Second Use Case is on Motorcross destinations (for me range doesnt matter too much + i already got plenty of information considering the range on dusty /singletraillike conditions). Thanks a lot in advance :)!
I think this is a sure buy if you are only considering electric. There is this and the stark future varg and the varg is 3x as powerful but costs double almost
Not road legal either
@@bve7397 Im from germany. Here you can register the storm bee as is, it falls under the 125cc class, and it needs to have 10kw of power or less. Beeing electric you can tune it down if needed but if its got correct tires, lights and indicators you are good to go. People here could get the "A1"-License, which can be attained at 16 years old, which is required for 125cc-bikes.
for 9k dollars u can get an r1 that can do tripple the speed with alot more power and more fun, idk why they gotta make them so expensive if they are trying to take over the fuel injected bikes
Because the parts are more expensive and the technology put into these machines takes a lot so as time goes on they will get faster and better on range at good prices but for now the market is new
does it have cruise control ?
I wonder how fast the new 104 volt ones go.
Annoying music, can't hear speaker properly
Keine Musik, kein sinnloses Gerede - einfach fahren. Das sagt mir mehr über dieses tolle Bike als jedes andere Video hier. Herzlichen Dank!!!
My bikes are 100 volt killers.
I'm really interested in buying the surron ultra bee, just put on a license plate and motorcycle mirrors and it's road legal? it already has blinkers.
It comes with everything, so you just need to register it, put a plate on it and off you go. But from what i see i would go down 2 to 3 tooth in the rear just so it can cruise a little bit better on the road
when can i buy it in germany?
Kann man bei euch eine Testfahrt machen?
when can we expect stormbee in germany
My take on the new ultra Bee. Battery improved, power improved, brakes improved, suspension improved. With all that why did they leave skinny little 19 inch tires front and rear? We need a 21 in the front and an 18 in the rear. I took my light bee out to the desert and in the deep dry sand it wouldn't even go up hill. Did okay on the level stuff as long as you held it wide open so you could get on top of the sand they're trying to go uphill the rear tire just dug in and sank
These are not the same 19” wheels that came on the light bee which were 19x1.4 with 70/100-19 tires F/R, these wheels on the ultra bee are 19x1.6 with 80/100-19 up front and 90/90-19 in the rear. With the much wider stronger swingarm other tire choices will be able to fit as well.
@@surronsd still for off-road a 19-in front tire is too small it takes more effort to get over obstacles. I have two zeros both with 19" fronts and my Sur-ron and I ride gas bikes with a 21" also when I took my Sur-ron out to the desert it sucked in the deep sand on any kind of uphill because of the width of the tire you need at least a 4-in wide rear tire to get up on top of the sand uphill especially if it's dry.
@@shredmas that’s because your little lightbee was never intended with a 4” rear tire, although some have such as myself on a 16” rear wheel. As far as the front goes going up in overall diameter will help clear obstacles better but numbs steering and adds quite a bit more weight up front of the bike where there’s already a bunch of weight. This is still on the smaller end of things. The goal wasn’t to make a midsize bike that weighed over 200lbs, as surron already has a full sized bike with 18/21. This bike was designed for those that likes there lightbee but wants legit moto brakes, better motor suspension, better seating ergonomics, and more power.
@@surronsd yes I love the fact that it's under 200 lb and the power is sufficient suspension seems improved. Seems like range will be great. I was seriously thinking about selling one of my three zeros and buying one of these but would like a 21 up front and you are correct about the for a light bee a 21 is a little too much
@@shredmas yes I will be getting a ultrabee as I find at higher speeds I would rather have real brakes and real suspension instead of MTB components. A little more weight for more power, range and components are all pros to me. I’m sure with a moto fork being utilized, a 21” front wheel will be easy to source giving those that want the ability to monster truck their way over rock gardens a lot easier. Storage compartment is also nice touch, I most likely won’t be keeping my charger in it but tool storage is rad
Hurry up!
😍
Nice, can i get one for free? And someone let me carge ?
Change the music... much quite at the start then Crescendo at the end.. Beethovins 5th..
music, i can cry
Make the music louder please.
When is it avaiable on the EU Market?
nice.🤤
They say it's not an mx bike, or an enduro bike, then they test it on an mx track and ride it on enduro trails, lol. Then you have people say it has a long range, some say 60km, some say 80km, some say 100km, so who are we to believe. Then they say weight matters, so what happens if someone who weighs 220 or 240 lbs. ride it, what is the range for a heavy rider. Then people say you just buy a 2nd battery, and have a generator to charge it while you are riding. But nobody will say how much a 2nd battery cost, and that you also have to buy a generator, and pay for the gas to run the generator. Then you have people saying it is not made to race mx or enduro, then why does it look like an mx/enduro bike. There are way too many unanswered questions about this bike for me, and I would not touch it with a 10 foot pole. Do I really want to spend $12k on the bike, maybe $3k on a 2nd battery, then $600 for a generator, and pay for gas to run it, so I can ride something I do not know if it will break in half the 1st big double jump I come up short on. No Thanks! I can just buy a used 4 stroke or a used 2 stroke for under $6.000, and go ride it all day, and know if I come up short on a double the whole bike will not fall apart on me. I used to ride my Suzuki RM 465 all day every week, saturday and sunday for a whole summer, and all I ever did was put gas in it, change the oil every other month, and clean the air filter once a week. Will it even finish a 30 minute moto at full throttle without running out of charge. What if you weigh 240 lbs, and the charge only lasts 2 hours, and it takes 3 hours to charge the battery. Then you never have time to get either battery back to full charge, and that is if you have the money to buy a generator. If you do not have the money for a 2nd battery, and you run out of charge, you have to sit and wait 3 hours to ride it while all your friends ride without you on their gas powered bikes.
I want to see a comparison with the KTM E-XC
still not even comparable. Look at those wheels. If you buy this bike you probably need 2-3k in upgrades, In this case just go for the KTM
@@daveman961 still not anywhere near the price of the KTM…. These will be 6500-7000USD which is substantially cheaper then the KTM base price($11,300)MSRP. The freeride is 245lbs, while the ultra bee is 187lbs and has substantially better range. If one wanted to drop 1000-1500 in wheels youd be set and still save a ton of money.
@@surronsd Same as with the sur ron light bee, you probably also wanna change the suspension front and back, handlebar riser, electric throttle and upgrade the breaks. good suspension in total is 1,5k+. With a new wheelset you will probably be around 10k easily
2 completely different bike types but there is already a comparison with the KTM and STORM BEE on UA-cam.
@@daveman961 no need as this already has the electronic throttle and has twice the power of the light bee but not trouble the weight
As long as the road going version of the Storm Bee doesn‘t feature dc fast charging (CEE outlet built in), it’s not market ready and should not be considered by consumers. Intelligent ones will not give it a second look, anyways 😉 So please, try harder.
What’s the price gonna be? USA money
Damn that’s a motorcycle lol 😂
Hilarious, what would Australia need an Army for? 90% of their country is Dessert with Crocs and toxic animals, even the cute cangoroos try to kill you If you are not simly get rostet to death by the sun. No one wants to be there. And If they invade an other country they will be Nuked for right. Anyway Not my Tax 🤣🤣
But can it run Crysis?
Spects?
Perfect!
Yessir im hyped
Did someone knows the release date in Germany ? Can´t wait for it...
The specs on these new Sur Ron Ultra Bee's are 74v 55ah battery 445nm of torque, upgraded front and rear suspension, more powerful hydraulic brakes 4pot caliper, bigger wheels wider tyres 56mph 85kg in weight
Sounds good 😍
Most stoked on the weight. Finally an unlocked street legal and light weight bike 👌🏼
Hi I sell Sur Ron's for a living these would sell amazingly on the UK market, email me see if we can come to some agreements on a bike
Wow atleast looks like a proper dirt machine now. Hope the price is within the reach of common folks lol
I’ll give 13k right now for early access
Are those the same 70/100-19 tires that are on the Light Bee? They look hilarious on that bike lol.
I could be mistaken but i think the front is a 80/100-19 and rear is a 90/100-19
@@RobbyMarino I thought so too from the promotional videos. These look quite a bit skinner than that, though, don't they?
@@nxdboi Yeahbthe rear looks a lil skinny.. Could just be the video though or the street legal version since in the US they only can sel the Off road one… Just a thought
@@RobbyMarino Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I guess you would want optimal range on the street version, which skinnier tires lend to. It would have been cool if the street version came with Super Motos installed.
@@nxdboi Absolutely! I agree, I have a light bee at the moment but i’m hopeing i can sell it to buy one of these bad boys!
Specifications please...!
