Here’s my idea if you have a TBR cart you should put the books in the TBR cart and then name them off as you go while there sitting in the cart.

while i am endlessly entertained by the black holes, if i were you, i’d turn them into wormholes in the new year if you’re continuing this game. just to save your sanity 🤣

I read the first volume Amulet by Kazu Kibuishi earlier this year and I loved it. I hadn't ever heard about this series and I accidentally placed a hold on it when I was trying to put on another book. I was pretty much able to read it in one setting. Now I need to put a hold on book 2 of the series.

I think the only way you will complete this is if you DNF a third of them or win readathons.

Thinking someone needs to make another black hole or 2 😂

I have an idea for the space ship you are using as a black hole. It came to me when you said you felt like it should "take you somewhere". Instead of worrying about cutting another black hole, what if you just use the space ship when/if you hit this number of black holes. Instead of a black hole, it's a time travel ship. If you land on the ship, use a random number generator to pick a number between the space your ship covers and the beginning. And that's the number of spaces you have to go back. In your current case, the ship is on space 33 (right?), if your random number generator came up as a 12, for example, that's the number of spaces you have to go back.

I don't know if you have thought of this before (or if someone else has mentioned this), BUT have you contemplated changing the rules a little bit where if you finish your black holes books you get to take a black hole off instead of it being if you finish all of your reads that month? This would motivate you to continue in series and have fewer books that can knock you off your game. Let me know what you think :)
