Here are some tips. 1- Buy the cover retaining clips because they tend to break. 2- Make a mark at the wiper motor link arm before remove it to put it back in the same spot.

      Sorry to hear that. There is a lot of people having the exact same problems even myself. Its a good looking car but they do require plenty of maintenance. About the rear brake tool, it is design that way because of the emergency brake system. Most of the cars with rear calipers are that way too.

  • @rockmeetbottom
    @rockmeetbottom 4 місяці тому

    Would you also recommend replacing the control arms/ball joints and sway bar links while you're in there? In addition to the struts/shocks and brakes, what other suspension components would you recommend replacing at this point in the age of the vehicle while you're doing this work?

    • @mundothefixitallguy4687
      @mundothefixitallguy4687 4 місяці тому

      I usually inspect them while working on it but I personnally dont replace them if they are in good condition. It really dont make any damage if you do, because you already have everything disassembled. That will be more at your discretion.

    • @rockmeetbottom
      @rockmeetbottom 4 місяці тому

      @@mundothefixitallguy4687 Thanks for the clarification. If I do want to replace all that stuff while I have it disassembled, is there anything else I should also replace while I'm in there? Axles? upper control arms? etc?

    • @mundothefixitallguy4687
      @mundothefixitallguy4687 4 місяці тому

      I like to check for play at control arm bushings too. They usually become a headache when trying to align the car. Like I say before, inspect everything, if it is good I would leave it unless it is bad. Usually the links are bad like the one you saw in the video.
