I know this vid is old, but am I the only one that thinks about tiny toes and that plastic mesh?

I'll bet that spray contact cement would work well to get the skin down flat and then mod podge over it? Just a suggestion. I'm getting ready to do something similar. Thanks for showing us this project.

My grandma put cinnamon on our counter to get rid of ants and about 30 minutes later I go for a snack and the entire counter was covered in ants like the entire counter the whole colony was on that mf you already know I pulled out the raid and slammed them all

Mine came in on a piece of wood from outside, it is 20 degrees outside and I have red ants inside

Was the hot glue strong enough to hold in the snake?

Is the hot glue actually a strong enough adhesive to bond the tracs to the wood?

Hah, I've just cleaning up my leopard gecko enclosure this morning. I found hundreds ants roaming in my gecko enclosure. My gecko almost dying, his four legs turn into red because of the sting. Fiuh, if I'm late, my gecko would be dead.

The thing about a false bottom is you cannot use a heat mat since water will sit at the bottom. This can cause 1- the glass to shatter, and 2- a pool of flaming hot water which can be very deadly to the snake. Beautiful first bioactive!!!

My cricket tank also got infested, and I even saw some ants carrying out cricket legs. Seems like they are attracted to the dead cricket smell. Unfortunately, my cricket tank was right next to my Emerald Tree Skink enclosure and apparently ants like sphagnum moss 😬

How did you hang it? I’m having trouble trying to figure out how to hang mine 😅 my crestie is in an exo terra so the screen holes are too small for any chain or vine.

I have a wooden enclosure (concrete plex if thats the right name?) and I've been seeing ants too. I tried the cinnamon trick, cleaned the whole enclosure and havent seen them for weeks. I was just making a sandwich and i saw the same kind of ants walking on my freezer..like, wtf? GET OUT! urgh

Chlorine evaporates after 24 hours. you had a lot so maybe not all of it was gone after 18 hours.

My boyfriend just found little unwanted guests in Sriracha’s, his African fire skink, tank. I zoomed on and found this video. We both use a couple of the tips aside from the Raid portion. Then we spritz some peppermint and witch hazel in place of the Raid. Its been about 3 days and we havent seen them. Id say it worked out alright.

I absolutely loved these little critters as a kid. I had a Costa Rican Zebra Tarantula and I loved to let it crawl on my face and watch it move along my hands and fingers. Beautiful animals.

I'm a going to be first time snake owner I didn't decided a snake like a garter snake or a Japanese rat snake or a ball python I picked a IMG morphed common boa I asked for my birthday but were still getting the stuff we need this REALLY helped plus I can go to hobby lobby and buy some fake plants to use THANKS SO MUCH!! (also I'll be getting a juvenile IMG common boa and I'm gonna make it's enclosure hand made plus I'll be afk and we have a family issue on my mothers side of the family and in the two weeks or so before we go I'm expecting the snake because thats the time we're getting it should I bring it with us sense we're going to a Airbnb and they don't make noises or squawk or bark or meow so should I bring it with)

What's the bleach/water ratio? Unless I missed that in the video.
