Feild Cultivation and a Problem Solved
Good video could have done without the stupid music!!!!
How fast do you run on corn and beans ?
Great video and great combine! My great uncle bought a 4400 brand new back in 1978, I think.
Is Triplet Lambs, feeding the pellets⁉️
To setup for corn on any combine...setup the top sieve the size of the big kernels on the butt of the cob. That size all the way to the back. The bottom wide open and slow the fan speed down because the airspeed will increase dramatically doing this. Then it's concave until the cobs are whole and ground speed until there's kernel loss from overloading the cylinder.
Recuerdo cuando teniamos 2 trilladoras de las mismas muy buena para el trabajo
Music makes me think of two gay cowboys from Dallas Ft Worth
❤ new subscriber. Great job
Good ol' ways of the good ol' days with the good ol' American made tractors
Are you from the Jewell IA area?
you make great videos!love your farms! Are you gonna make some more videos anytime soon?:)
Great video!I hope someday I have the chance to do it my self.:)
Tighten chains in corn head use some old used engine oil on gathering chains.
Hmmmmm operating with the cab door wide open.....inhale that dust !!!! Suggests your a republican ??? ( not to be political ) But no mask ????? After about 25 years of this........along with just living / farming you will have black lung disease. A true conservative ( hate to be political !!!) Then depend on the government to pay medical bills !! Anyway......as a distance runner 12 miles a day......I do wear a mask. Change it 4 times a day. Im age 65... no drugs. But........that would be considered ( hate to be political ) liberal !
Should I buy a 6600
I’m going to buy this combine just starting farming
Family Home Entertainment presents Nursery Rhymes (1983)

This reminds me of A Christmas Romance (1994)

I have this combine..... 4 row 444 header...... 38 inch rows. I bought it with the understanding its faster then my old.......New Idea 324 two row picker. I was so wrong !!!!! Doing the work " alone " I could do 2 semi loads of shelled corn a day. I can only do 1 and a half loads with my 6600 combine ! Again.......Im alone......and do everything alone. You do more chasing of wagons and stopping to dump then you do picking corn !! Take the wagons to one end of the field.....stop each dump......then get the wagons again. My two row....pick until the wagon is full......get another wagon. Now lets talk about the fuel.........repairs ?? I can do 40 acres with my air conditioned cab.... with 35 gallons of fuel. I spent 250 dollars on my two row over 35 years of using it. Think twice about owning one of these dinosaurs ! Yes.... the New Idea picker shells corn on the rolls.......but 2 bushels per acre ??? Ill take it !
Second gear is plow gear, she isn’t even getting a good workout in low. I plowed so many acres with the 2Ns one day I’m going to buy a 1951or 52 8N my grandfather almost bought one new and bought our 51 Ferguson TO30 Instead always wanted to know what would it have been like if he’d bought that 8N he almost bought. I know the 30 was more tractor but his uncle and multiple friends had 8Ns would love to know.
I will have to do the same job on my JD7700 at some point. I am thinking replace the unloading auger drive belt and feederhouse belt while in there.
I would stick to raising beans your losing a lot of corn by letting it get full like that
Wasnt this the sausage short left ear bottom?
Nice fire the heffer up corn fed corn bred
Quit watching because of music over motor
I have another video just like it without the music
Looks like you need water in your tires.
Why do you play that stupid din can't hear the tractor
Only one suggestion. Glass maintenance,,lol. Just sayin,,
Looks like you've got some artwork on yer side? Cool 😎
Great videos. Just found your channel. Subscribing was automatic. Take it your in Ohio?
You must have grown up on a farm. I see experience on your side. Is this your first solo harvest?
Using a 4 row planter?
Not with a six row header !
6600 looks to be in great shape. I do see a grain truck in your future though.
Looking good for a first time.
This reminds me of a game I used to play called Farming Simulator
Fuurrrrrr suurrrrrreee
Great video 10/10! Would definitely watch again!
We had a Ford 8N. My happiest day with that tractor was seeing it leave the farm on the back of the JD dealers truck.
I grew up in Illinois helping my Dad harvest with the 6600 six row corn head. Your video took me back, especially when you engaged the head and could here the squacking. Im 67 now…. and it seemed like yesterday. Thank you.

I can’t watch it because of the music
The music ruined the video
I would of liked it better if could of heard the engine, tractor than the music was you showing the tractor or the radio.

Thanks for watching. Check out the other videos on my channel including the plowing video without music
I have an 8n as well. Plan to post video on here soon doing a start up
An F Gleaner. Good combines but no hydraulic fold auger and it's not a hydro. I still have an old E Gleaner that I use once in a blue moon just for oats these days. I grew up on a Gleaner E and used to run my cousins F2 with hydraulic auger swing. Have an L2 in the shed and run an R52 today.
This is a gleaner k
@Wool Creek Farm wow with a 4 row head. Never seen it, only heard of it.
@@SilverGleaner he’s running a three row on it. Not sure if it would handle four super well
@@woolcreekfarm6157 I missed that. They did sell some eith a 4 row and some F models with 6 row.
Man. I miss my 1941 9N. Was a great tractor. Had a Ferguson 2-12 for it.
This guy is my favorite UA-camr.Just sometimes I don’t think he knows what he’s doing.
A lot of great old machinery doing great work
