As a runner who only does strength training 1-2 times per week, rarely 3 times per week, I don't know what to do. Everyone in the strength community says take it daily 3g/day and everyone in the endurance running community says you don't take creatine that much. There was also a study saying runners should take creatine 20/g a day preloaded 5 days before a 30k run, but what if you are doing a 30k run already once a week? I can't see taking 20g/day for 5 out of the 7 days of your training week lol. Do I only take it on threshhold days? only on race days? on aerobic days?

I love seeing people say and show recovery is possible because the treatment world can be awful in this way of saying we will always be with the eating disorder, won't "fully" recover, etc. I struggled severely for 15 years, literally bingeing and purging every single day by the time I got to college. I was told I'd probably be dead in a few years and I quit Cross Country because the training was impossible. I am now about six months into this switch just suddenly flipping and a solid month and two weeks without any behaviors like that whatsoever. This makes me believe I can even get back into running, but right now is not the time due to digestive issues and bone density loss. Maybe it will never be the same and that's part of recognizing the severity of eating disorders, but this type of video gives me a lot of hope that I can at least get back to enjoying the things I love and raising healthy children.
