Ep 57. Driveway gets installed. @AcupulaAcres
I’m late to the party, but man I like the staircase!!! Looks great guys!!!
Yo thats my dad
Thanks for this! I saved a bunch of money putting it together by myself. I watched your video several times the day before picking it up and it gave me confidence about doing by myself. Rep fitness doesn’t even have an install video for this product, which is not great
I’m really glad it helped! It’s been a good trainer for us. I hope it is for you too.
Sometimes you get 10 new visitors. 🦌🦌🦌🦌🦌
Yup. Sometimes 15. That’s the max in one visit so far.
🤣🤣
mountain lion
Damn deers. Called the police once cause we swore we were hearing someone scream help! 😭🤣
Stay strapped or get clapped
That is a person or skinwalker…
You are the best man. Love it!
Awe, Thank you! 😊
Awesome video, we’re looking to add a portico to our house and this has given me ideas. Question ; why not add rebar to the slab holding the columns for extra support ? DIY’ er here Thanks!
Thank you! Definitely you can. I embedded a layer of wire mesh that I had left over from when we poured the slab and also used rebar in the hole in the center beneath the wire mesh. The center will carry the load and the perimeter was never going to be load bearing. If I stoned the entire column (like ep 82 Driveway columns), I would have used more rebar in the slab part. Also, don’t do a dry pour slab. I didn’t like it at all. Really glad you enjoyed it. Thx for watching!
Hey, thanks for this video. I'm thinking about getting one of these and it was good to see how it's packaged and what's pieces it comes in as I have a really old house with tiny doors! So your video helped! Ta from the UK!
I’m glad it has helped. You won’t be disappointed in it!

Looks nice, can we get an update in about a month to see if it's still closing nice?
It’s been about two weeks since the video was shot. In the next video I installed an opener. So far so good. I figure it’s been opened about 300 times so far between regular use and testing it. Closes great so far but I’ll let you know how it goes. Thanks for watching!
good job! dig the rifle wall
Thank you!

That looks Awesome ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you! So glad you like it.
Hey i know this man
🙌👏🙏🇻🇪💰😭😥
They won't knock that pillar over too easily. Nice work.😮
Embedding that steel post like that made it look real nice 👏
Thanks! I have to say, I stole the idea. I saw another gate done that way and really liked it!
Looks like we have similar interest. Fitness, hiking, small tough dogs. I just subscribed. Good luck on your channel and I look forward to seeing more adventures from you!
Good job ! Thnx from France
I’m so happy you liked it. Thank you!
Thanks for the video. I watched each section along with consulting the directions and it really helped when putting this together. I laughed when you assembled the towers though.....I knew you had them backwards and I kept wondering how long it was going to take you to realize it. lol
Yes, Hahaha. It was definitely a face palm moment. Glad it happened anyway, hopefully I suffered for everyone else. Glad you liked the video and that it helped! I hope you are enjoying the machine!
Woooooow ❤❤

>:)
is that 3/8 or 1/2 mix i cant tell from video llooks like 3/8
It has a smooth finish which makes me agree with you that it’s a 3/8”. Much smoother than our public roadways here. Honestly, I’d have to defer to my asphalt company, because I’m not 100%sure.
@@AcupulaAcres ya 3/8 is basically liquid 1/2 is harder to pave 🤣
@programmer6428 any harder and I don’t think they could pull it up that hill. I don’t pave for a living obviously but I have a lot of respect for those that do. No joke, it’s hard work and unappreciated by most who drive on it daily!
@@AcupulaAcres dont get into it if you value your body 😂 im a PW contractor and hate paving but it pays!
"promosm" 👉
Great work, very ingenious too. I’ll be attempting this very style in my laundry room as I too do not have a broom closet. 😊😊😊
Glad you like it! Good luck on your project!
How much more for concrete?
For this 800’ driveway, it would have been another $30,000.
Fast forward 20 years: the owner cries as their investment erodes away every winter
Not in the south. I’d agree if we got any snow or ice.

Would lovw to see the finished product....something about the smell of fresh asphalt is amazing to me
Here you go! Enjoy Ep 57. ua-cam.com/video/WTao3leU35I/v-deo.htmlsi=r--opSKKvt4jnVvA
I stay up too late, got people in my brain, mmmm, that’s what people say, mmmm, that’s what people say
Why do you alternate bays during application? Genuinely asking.
Great question. Both produce heat while expanding. Especially closed cell. So it’s to keep the temperature down. Too much heat in one space is not good
OMG MY FRIEND IS ON THERE!!!!
Mountain cabin my butt. That's the beginning of a mountain mansion. Good work.
Thanks man. It’s too big for me. If am able, my next will be smaller!
Thank you so much for putting this together! I had just purchased this and your video saved me hours of struggle.
So glad. That means a lot that it helped!
How difficult will it be to replace cables and pulleys ? Anything else will need replacing ? (trolleys ?)
Extremely easy but I don’t think you would ever need to. It’s a solid machine and should be very long lasting. The trolleys are the best I ever seen on a home gym.
@@AcupulaAcres 👍
I think you put the back panels on backwards on the tall cabinets according to the instructions. I built two of them so far. We love them. Other than that the space looks great:)
Good catch. I can definitely see that now that you pointed it out. I think I like the finished side out because I do move them around so I guess it’s a happy accident?!
Supposedly by putting back panels backwards, you gain a little bit more space.
Hey! Another positive!
rad!
Thx! @mr.receipts62
Genius to put it between the studs. Great idea!
Thx!
Def need to get a nail gun asap, any recs for people buying one on a budget? I just moved but theyd make my life so much easier
Definitely get a framing nail, finish nailer, and a Brad nail. Best investment!
I like Ridgid, but Dewalt makes great tools as well.
@@AcupulaAcresif you had to get just one which would you choose?
@@mr.receipts62 The Brad Nailer and Finish nailer are the most similar. Brads are thinner wire. Finish nailer a little thicker wire. It really depends on what project you are doing. If you are installing trim, use a finish nailer. Smaller crafting projects, go with a Brad nailer. Framing nail is for 2x4 lumber and such, Not trim work.
Contractor told me the mud will crack putting the header to the top
If your framers leave gaps in the joints, it probably will. If they are good framers and keep their cuts accurate, I don’t think you will see an issue. I never have.
@@AcupulaAcres contractor got his ways he's in his seventies and he writes the checks, what ya gonna do
I respect that!
Hehee😂
🤣😂🥱🤣😂😂
👍
cool
Just wanted to add that even tho the poster calls the bolts 10mm and 12mm, you will need 19mm and 17mm wrenches to fasten them. So an open wrench and socket pairing is probably the easiest way to go.
Good point. I’m referring to the bolts, not the sockets. Good clarification!
Did you consider the AB 4100? I am undecided between these two. If they updating the 4100 to a 2.0 I would probably get that but for now I am leaning towards the 3200 2.0. Does it feel weird to move it around? I noticed you grabbed it by the seat and not the handle on the rollers
No I didn’t look at the 4100. I’m not a fan of the post on the roller bar. It’s great for storing vertically but my last bench had it an I constantly trip on it when the bench was in an upright position. There really isn’t a handle on the 3000. I found take I grab the center of the leg bar to pick it up. That being said, I really am happy with the 3000 and I would buy it again. It’s very nice!
@@AcupulaAcres good to know you’re enjoying it! Would you trip on the handle near the seat or the thing that the bench lays on so it doesn’t sit on the back pad? I saw a video on Reps site and it looks like the thing that connects the two rollers is supposed to be the handle (I think this is what you said you used)
@@MarkNealJr the post the bench lays on got in my way when walking around with the seat left up. Yes, I grab between the 2 rollers(actually pads) to move it around. Another thing I like about the 3000 is that you can get a slight decline if you skip the last notch.
@@AcupulaAcres I never considered tripping on that post but I can see it happening when the bench is at the 85 degree angle! The decline is a nice bonus. I think I like that the seat is a pop pin instead of the ladder. I have a cheaper bench and the seat is a ladder. It would pop out of the ladder when I sat on a certain part of the seat so I was worried about that on the other ladder seats. I have since fixed it by really tightening it but it worried me for a while
Thank you for this Video man! really helped!
Great! I love to hear that!
