Can confirm, this is pretty much the best air filter system on a budget. You can even make it equal to a HEPA rating with MERV 17 I believe. Personally I just use merv 13 and 14 for the house. These box fan air filters are capable of cleaning a typical room within 30-35min, meaning all particles filtered from the air. For people sensitive to noise, especially for sleep, there are variable output controllers that you can plug the fan into and finely adjust how much power it receives, which then controls the speed of the fan. Sometimes they are called variac controllers, variable speed controller, etc.

Impressive it was that simple, good video. Also, huge oversight by the design team who couldn't see that happening or prevent it from happening.

It started freezing but I have heard a few weird grinding noises. I saw your video about the ice defrosting and making noises. Wonder if that’s what mine is. .. I got the same code on my car… will take it and have it analyzed

Just remember that any media you use that peens(textures) the metal will warp the metal. This goes for dry or wet blasting. Sometimes it’s not noticeable but when you block sand with a guide coat you will see it. The best way to lessen the warpage is to have your nozzle at an angle around 45*, ideal pressure around 120psi and keep the nozzle moving! Dont stop in one spot.
