Hi, I'm having this issue that when I change a setting in the transmitter, fire and turn it off, when I turn it on again, instead of having the last setting I gave it, it has the setting from when I first turned it on that day, making me having to change each group again and again. Any advice on this?

The transmitter shows ABC as ttl its not change how can i solve this problem....??

I can set the custom function to show 5 groups but it only shows 3 groups unless I set it go GR mode. Any ideas as to why this is is happening? I have version 19 installed. Thanks.

Spencer I am upgrading from Yongnuo 622YN too. I am thinking the 622 receiver on one of my YN 568 ttl flashes might work with the R2 trigger. This stuff is all made by Yongnuo. Godox, Flashpoint, Cheetah all made by Yongnuo. This is why they have not been coming out with much stuff under the Yongnuo name for Nikon. They are building all this stuff now.

Good information in the video. I was also frustrated with the default controls. I still am not able to get the trigger to shoot the auto focus beam. I have my Nikon on Single focus and Single shot and have the R2 auto focus beam turned on, but I still get nothing. Any help on this would be great. Thanks.

Spencer, yes Manual really puts out the power! So does TTL but still finding out how to. One thing about ratio settings using the one flash unit on camera as the "transmitter", is that when i decrease the B unit (off camera unit), at the same time, my on camera unit will increase IT'S output. That's weird. I don't want it to do that. So, now the main light (on camera) is to bright. Is this correct?

After much experimenting, i found that for the most part, setting at zero is correct at typical distances. But when i used the softbox at about 2-3 ft. from subject, it is overexposed (TTL using fel).

How did you get to the minus? Which function do I press to get it? Thanks.

Another this is the locking pin does not line up to lock the X1N on the camera, if not tighten down very well it will sip off the camera.

I purchased the Godox X1N 2.4G and Godox XTR-16 2.4G, to control my Godox Witstro AD360. I set the channel and group on both and the X1N would only fire the test and not control the power. I then found your youtube channel and the Godox units does not have function above 6, I then search google for firmware update and was able to download the upgrade software and firmware file and after upgrading the firmware I was able to control the power and the full function set from 1-8. I would recommend to anyone that purchase either version of the Godox X1N to be sure to upgrade the firmware to have complete functions.

i have two Flashpoint R2 units. I used them at a typical community center last night. I got home and find out their is no indication of flash at all..only the ambient seems to be showing up. I've been using flash units for years before i got these. Are they that weak?? Their's only ONE Flashpoint R2, correct? No different models of that? The flashes are firing. Using Aperture priority and fel is correct. Did a few shots with second unit as backlight in a narrow hall. I could barely make it out in the photo. Very disappointed. I have a big Christmas party in a week to do.

Can you turn any group off like with the original R1?
