'I have many LPVO type optics from Higher dollar manufacturer's. I bought this Millet about 8-10 years ago and mounted it on a custom M4. This scope is an excellent optic for short roo medium range; I usually just place the donut around the head or steel plate and am able to make accurate shots, very quickly. In fact on 10 & 8" plates it seems almost impossible to miss out to about 100 yards. I think this optic would be excellent for a patrol car . I would feel confident using it on 1x doing building entry. 20+ years on T.A.C.T for State agency.

Short barrel life I bet and the 223 round doesn’t have that good of a BC compared to other similar rounds like the 25wssm so all that velocity doesn’t do much good at distance with the wind

This is not a world record , Remington made the velocitor line in the 90's they loaded 300 win. mag and 7mm rem. mag with a .224 diameter bullet using a plastic sabot like a muzzleloader (72 grain if I remember) both breaking 5,000 fps . A buddy bought some for coyotes out of his 7mm mag his chronograph was rated at 5,000 fps and when we tested them it just showed 0's like it couldn't read it .

once someone creates a c4 powered rifle , 5-7000 fps rifles will be common.

If that's your favorite weapon then like I said use a different powder!!! Or projectile weight. In rare cases you can actually achieve a higher velocity with a slightly heavier projectile given everything else is the same. But and I warn keep an eye on your ballistic coefficient. Please don't get a face full of shrapnel!!!!

Have you shot it at night???? Cause I think I can hear flames or unburnt powder flying out of that barrel!!! Get a buddy to watch from the side at night it's a dead giveaway at night check it out??? But that's what I'm guessing. If you don't possess a longer barrel use a faster burning mix just make sure you remember the mix!!!! It's really important!!!!
