Interesting point about balancing family life when support workers are in the household. As a SW myself, I used to work with a client who has a teenage daughter, and many times he asked me to do things that were HER responsibility (e.g. wash dirty dishes she left on the sink). I was the one who had to be firm and say to him that I only had responsibility to work with HIM, not to do things that his daughter is already entirely capable of doing herself. Not part of my role to judge, but I think he spoiled his daughter a bit too much.
