You are a GEM! I love how you focus on high-yield materials and incorporate practice questions in your videos!
Taking my mcat tmrw, thank you for all the help !! 🫶
me too!! wishing you the best of luck 🫶🏼
Good luck tomorrow!
Me too!! Good luck
good luck, u got this!
Can you please cover E1 and E2 reactions? We need to know these for the mcat tok, right?
do i need to know all the intermediate names on the mcat or just what is covered in this video?
i really love your videos! i wish i could afford the program but in the mean time please keep these going !
Hello, I'm currently in my junior year of university, and I plan to take the MCAT this summer! My junior year ends this May, marking the start of summer break. However, I do want to start medical school right after I graduate. Does that mean I have to take the MCAT before the application cycle starts this year, or am I applying for the next cycle next year? I don't actually want to have to deal with a gap year.
this video is so AMAZING thank you
It would be nice if you explained to root of Arkimedes principle. The formula (F=pvg) comes from.. (1) F=mg p=m/v => (2) m=pv (1) in (2) = Arkimedes. F=pvg
Thanks for the amazing breakdown of histone modification. The “hat” analogy for acetylation is on point ❤. You are the best! Thanks for making my MCAT journey one step easier 🤗🤗🤗
I'm so happy to hear these videos are helping! You're welcome!
Would love if you could make a video on circulation/respiration essentials!
I will add it to the list!
Goat
Thanks!
this remarkable video is perfect for reviewing, thanks a lot!!😍
You're welcome! So glad it was helpful for you!
I'm so grateful for these explanations + especially for being so clear about the units! I tend to reach a problem, realize I don't have the appropriate equation memorized, and then try to do dimensional analysis, but always get stuck on these types of questions because I also forget the unit conversions! I'm testing in 2 weeks! Thank you!
Best of luck on your test!
audibly blurted out 'OMG THANK YOU' half way through this video. Subscribed
So glad it was what you were looking for!
luv ur videos! wondering if u could talk about nitrogen, sulfur, and similar cycles
I can certainly add it to the list! Thank you!
can you do a video on right hand rule plz!!
I'll add it to the list!
i've been binging all your MCAT videos. you are such a great resource!
I'm so glad you're finding them helpful!
I have a question do u think this will be feasible on mcat day to finish a question after reading a passage in 1 min ?!
I recommend taking an average fo 3 minutes to read the passage and an average of 1 minute per question, which means about 8 minutes on average for each passage+questions. This of course will change depending on the length of passage and challenge level of the question, but all questions should be completable in under 20 minutes.
You have the best MCAT channel out there! Great work!!!
Thank you! I'm so glad you're finding it useful!
You are hands down the best MCAT channel I have found till now! Thank you!
You're welcome!!
I usually never really comment on youtube videos, but I just feel like your videos are SOOOO underrated!!! This was the most helpful explanation I've seen about what we need to know for kidney questions on the MCAT. You are helping us all out so much :)
Thanks so much! Glad you're finding them helpful!
you are perfect.
Thank you :)
Goat
Thank you :)
Hello! Thank you for all of this information. But is it possible to link the website you are using to purchase the section bank? My portal looks very different from what yours look like. Mine also said volume 1 and 2, which one should I purchase?
Here's the link: students-residents.aamc.org/prepare-mcat-exam/practice-mcat-exam-official-low-cost-products. When you log in with your credentials, the "store" will allow you to purchase any of the products listed here. The AAMC released a second volume of the section bank this past fall! This is very exciting because these are high quality questions that I definitely recommend using.
Thank you very much!
is this all the math we need on the mcat?
My math series focuses on many of the most common math skills, but it is by no means comprehensive or exhaustive! We cover more in my course!
plsss do more of the bio organ pathways!
I'm working on some right now!
Could you possibly do a video on R/S configuration?
I'll add it to the list!
I have been looking for a good nephron video for days- this was an amazing video THANK YOU!
You're welcome! So glad you enjoyed it!
What do you think about taking the MCAT in May (15th or 23rd) if I plan on applying to MD programs? I also plan on submitting my applications at the very earliest. What do you recommend? Is taking the MCAT in May ideal?
If you are very confident in your MCAT performance, then May is a perfectly good time. However, you won't receive your scores back for a month, so if you would like to see your scores before applying, I would suggest a March or April test day. One option that I've seen students do is apply to 1 school in AMCAS to get verified, then add more schools after receiving their score. I'll also say, I am NOT an admissions expert, so I would always defer to your academic advisor if you have one.
Just discovered these. Great videos.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're finding them useful!
Hi! I find your videos super helpful! I was wondering if you could go over neurulation/gastrulation for the mcat!
I'm so glad you're enjoying the videos! I'll add that to the list
Well done! this is the best video I've seen summing up all the metabolic pathways. Thank you so much for making this digestible!
You're so welcome! I'm glad you found it valuable!
Thanks for such amazing explanation this helped me lot
You're welcome! So glad it helped!
@bremmethod can you also start a series for organic chemistry for jee advanced aspirants
Thank you! Your videos have been so helpful in helping me understand the endocrine system as whole. Do you have any resources on learning estrogen/progesterone/menstrual cycle material? It always trips me up, especially with its relation to LH and FSH which you mentioned in this video.Thank you! Your videos have been so helpful in helping me understand the endocrine system as whole. Do you have any resources on learning estrogen/progesterone/menstrual cycle material? It always trips me up, especially with its relation to LH and FSH which you mentioned in this video.
I'm actually building a video to answer this right now! Should be up by the end of January!
Thank you! Your videos have been so helpful in helping me understand the endocrine system as whole. Do you have any resources on learning estrogen/progesterone/menstrual cycle material? It always trips me up, especially with its relation to LH and FSH which you mentioned in this video.
I'm actually working on a video about this right now!
you explained this so well. thank you : )
You're welcome! Glad you found it easy to understand!
this video is perfect
Thank you :)
Just a note for the alpha/beta designations: alpha is only down and beta is only up for D sugars, it is the opposite for L sugars. To remember this better I usually instead think the following: If carbon 6 is pointing the same way as the hydroxyl on the anomeric carbon, it's beta, if carbon 6 is pointing the opposite way to the anomeric hydroxyl, it's alpha
Great clarification! On the MCAT specifically, we almost always see D sugars as they are what our body uses, and the MCAT does try to stay physiologically relevant
Om L
?
these were just simple rudimentary plug n chug problems. everyone knows the equations by now and the speed of light constant. I was hoping for more conceptual...
I'm so glad these felt simple for you. It's important to remember that everyone is at different stage in their MCAT prep, and so what is easy for one person isn't always easy for another.
Thank you!!!
You're welcome!
concise full HY as usual !
Glad you found it useful!
Your videos are really good!! I’m so happy I found this channel 😌😌
Thank you! So glad you're finding them useful!
