The Page Turner presents an audio adaptation of Two Views on Death. For A. E. Housman, death can be an opportunity to rest on your laurels, to leave the world before your reputation has a chance to be soiled by later mistakes or failures. For Dylan Thomas, no one should willingly surrender to death, for there is always more to be done, said or atoned for.

Why did you make Harrison sound evil? Is that your interpretation of his character?

Thank you for reading and posting this classic science fiction story. After GPT 4-o wrote me a wonderful poem for a fellow Tolkien fan's birthday, I went looking to see if I could find an audiobook of this story (which I had heard of but never read) and arrived here. It's delightful to listen to Kurt's imagining of today's reality!

You are magnificent! I’ve never enjoyed an audio story more than I have yours. You’ve got a rare talent, for which I’m most grateful. Thank you so much. Since you very kindly asked, I’d love to hear more Vonnegut. Maybe some Bradbury? Orwell? Wodehouse? Can you only do those in the public domain?

Summary of "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" from google: "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" tells the story of the aging Walter Mitty on a trip into town with his overbearing wife, Mrs. Mitty. Walter is inept at many things; he is an absent-minded driver, he can't handle simple mechanical tasks, and he forgets things easily. What makes Walter exceptional is his imagination.
