In June, Swedes celebrate Midsommar, the summer solstice, and it is one of my absolute favorite holidays. The festivities are (most often) filled with joy, laughter, and cherished traditions that bring everyone together. So I invited my friend Cleo to join me in a lively discussion over a cup of coffee, about some of these beloved customs. We dive into the significance of the maypole, the delic...

Looking for a bird photography paradise? It's in Orlando Wetlands that I recently visited to capture the beauty of nature and its incredible bird life. I brought my Sony A7 IV, the Sony 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS II lens, and a 2x teleconverter. Orlando Wetlands is truly a paradise for bird and nature enthusiasts. Beautiful spot for a cup 💙
☕️🔥
Thermo-electric power generation is a cool process. I use 2 thermo-electric fans on top of my wood stove in the winter to distribute the heat around the room. It's so much fun to see the number of ways there are to make coffee. Thanks for the video!
Beautiful as always . I'd still love to share a coffee with you ❤️❤️❤️🌹🤗
Thanks for sharing the experience!
You are a Goddess. You can make my coffee anytime...
Hello, you have a beautiful channel, I like it a lot, I wanted to ask how many lenses do you use and which ones?
Богиня ❤!!!
Thanks for the ideas and activities
I love this video. Keep up the great work.
Love your attitude about this bag and not caring about what people will say. kislux You are right keep your head up and no your priorities.
Yrsa, när fotografen är vackrare än modellerna, måste vara jobbigt på en plåtning 😉 Love from Sweden ❤
I just got this lens, and was worried how it would perform on the A7III, but so far it's been great. I'm hoping to find some alligators this weekend as well. I do hope to be able to upgrade to something like the A7RV at some point, but for now, I'm just super excited I was even able to get this lens at all.
Yayyy good for you!! 👏 I hope you find some gators this weekend, good luck!
Myakka state park and Celery Fields in Sarasota are my 2 favorite places! The latter is completely free. They also renovated the Red Bug Slough preserve this last year. Also free. I've been going down there each year with my R7 and 100-500 the last few years. I am never disappointed.
if you are using a neck strap by any chance be prepared for a long lasting muscle stretch pain, this lens is must to be used with a tripod, i sold by 70-200 f4 and bought this thinking it will be all in one lens although it is, but its very heavy to use. Handheld use will be difficult as the zoom ring is very tight and the rotation from 60-600 takes a full 270 degree turn, focus rotations are smooth, lens is also very sharp from corner to corner, if you are tall have long hands and palm and workout a little you are good to go but if you are short with small palms and have a nice belly to carry along be prepared to get tired soon with body pain, which you will later understand came because of operating this lens, . I even tried using smallrig manual follow focus on it, it worked in a way but not very smooth, the single motor wireless follow focus was also not effective, may be the dual motor will work but those are made to be used with internal zoom lens but i had both so i tried.
Excellent. I was wondering : when doing wildlife photographies, where and to whom do you sell your pics ( or is it totally for your own pleasure ?)
As of now, my wildlife photography is just for myself. But who knows what the future might bring... 😊 thanks for watching!
Wow, beautiful wildlife footage & photos 😍 Thanks for sharing, I will gladly leave a subscription 😉👍
Thank you so much I appreciate it! 😊
I prefer my Zeiss 50mm 1.4, and it cost 1/4 of the G-master
Nice!
Доброе утро, Yrsa❤класс🫂🕊️
Oh my. Can I take you for coffee? I'm a photog...and id love to talk to you. I'm in DC. Rsvp
Thanks for watching the video! 😊
For wildlife I'm using the Sony 200-600 paired with the A1. It's rarely let me down except in really low light but I don't shoot that much in those situations. I would love the 300 paired with the 2x. The 200-600 is a fantastic lens but after a few hours lugging it around it does put wear and tear on these old bones.
Nice! Yeah the big lenses can get quite heavy to hike around with 😅
A74 have full HDMI
Yepp, I realized that after recording 😉 good reminder to myself to slow down lol
Awesome so lovely video
Thanks 🤗
now thats a dream lens
it really is 🥹
Beautiful pictures. Come further south to Green Cay Nature Center and Wakodahatchee Wetlands. During the winter migration there are more birds than you can imagine.
Awesome thank you so much, I'll put that on my bucket list! 😊
Fantastic pics and video. Any chance you would share your location for this shoot? I am always looking for new places to shoot birds and wildlife in South Florida. That alligator was amazing. Lived in Florida more than 20 years and still never come across that.
I also live in Florida and have seen this a number of times as long as I hang out long enough early in the morning at pretty much any location populated with Alligators during the months of May and June. One good place is Orlando Wetlands. Just make sure to arrive at Sunrise and stay 3 hours or so :) Good luck.
Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive 😊 Thanks for watching!!
I have the 300 F2.8 GM and it has become my favourite lens for wildlife photography, it is so good with and without teleconverter - and so flexible. I now only use my 600GM when stationary using tripod, or need to go beyond 600mm with teleconverter. This is a real professional video!
Thank you so much, I appreciate it! Would love to try out the 600 too, one day when my wallet allows it 😉📸
Great work and excellent narration. But viewers should be mindful that in order to get steady footage like shown in this video, we will need a pretty heavy tripod plus fluid head, which is normally a 4kg combo. And 600mm (300mm + 2x) is pretty much the entry level focal length in terms of bird videography, as we don't have the luxury to crop in post. So despite the beautiful images and soothing b-roll, really life experience of a bird videographer is far less comfortable.
I thought you were in India for a second with the intro song 😂 Great Video!!
Hahah maybe one day 😂 Thank you so much for watching!
Sony needs a 45mp stacked sensor to go with this lens! They mastered the video side now the photography side is a win win!
What about the 50mp A1?
It is obvious from many of your images that 300mm (no matter the manufacturer) is just not enough for bird photography. Also, many of your images would be improved if you got down closer to eye level instead of standing…having said all that, I did enjoy the walk with you.
Oh I would love to be lower down when I’m photographing.. but if you know Florida waters and how alligators behave, you might understand why I’m not so eager to go lay down by the water line ☺️ thanks for the comments
@@YrsaClicksNo harm intended…I really did like the video. 😊
Super photos. 👍
Thank you so much!! 😊
Yea. This lens is a winner. Half the price of 400 and 600. And alot smaller and half the weight as well. Since long prime is very limited on Sony… only this 300. Sigma 500 and Sony 400 and 600. This 300 can fit tele and give user a lightweight 420mm and 600mm. Having said that. .. I wish Sony can release those prime like Nikon.. 400 500 600 800 that is not 2.8 or f4. Not everyone wants to bring out 3kg lenses or able to afford those 12-15k lenses.
You are absolutely right, fingers crossed there will be more alternatives without breaking the bank 😊
The sunrise at the beginning amazing shot
Thank you so much! 😊
Красотки в деле!🤗😘😊
Great shoot
Many thanks! 😊
❤
nice to see beaver return to the wild
Thank you for sharing your test of the Sony lens. Great video & imagery! I'm glad I came across your channel. Information about the camel colored strap you have would be appreciated, as I hike in the mountain areas of Colorado. THANK YOU!
She has a video when she makes the strap :)
Thank you so much I appreciate it! That leather strap I actually made with my friend Sunnee, there's an episode about it. And I love it! 😊

Hello Yrsa, a pleasure to see your video, as always, very good, I am a Sony user, tell me is it really worth buying that lens, I have a sigma sport 150 - 600 that works very well although a little heavy, with the X2 multiplier it would be good?
That's cool! Wildlife is my jam. I would love to visit a place like that next time I get to Florida. I am normally shooting the Etowah River area (home area) in Northwest Georgia, going to Cherokee, NC for the elk or even Cades Cove in the Smoky Mountains for the black bear. That looks like a great setup. Thanks for letting me tag along!
Thanks for watching! I was recently in GA, NC and TN area in the mountains, lovely area. 😊
A great lens & great area to shoot love your work.
Thank you so much! ☺️📸
Superb production with great images and footage. Looking forward to the next one. I see you used the Sony A7CR body. Would be nice to see you use the a9iii in the next one.
Vorallem das modell
Thanks for watching! and good eye 😏 I might rent the A9III to try it out next
It's my favourite lens from Sony at the moment awesome video 👍
Good choice! Thanks for watching, and I love the lens too! ☺️
I was close to buying the Sony 300mm 2.8 with teleconverters, but then the Sigma 500mm 5.6 DG DN OS Sport was announced, which I bought, the Sigma 500mm are smaller and more light weight than the Sony 300mm, I am very happy with the Sigma 500mm, it is excellent and I can highly recommend it ! I saved a lot of money, so i could afford the Sony A7RV, which are a much better Camera than the A7CR, I like the design of the A7CR with the EVF in the corner, but the resolution and the magnification on the EVF is too low, you do not have a joystick and the IBIS is not as good as in the A7RV, the shutter in the A7CR is not as good as in the A7RV, to mount a grip on the A7C for better handling are not good, the compact size and the low weight get higher, (stupid !), so you pay too much for the A7CR !!! I do hope that a Sony A7CRII will improve all these things, SONY !!!?
Gets you there for less $$$$. I'm sure that is the reason one go for it over the A7R5.
@@thomastuorto9929 In this summer the A7RV is actually on offer and cheaper than the over priced A7CR model !
Good for you, but your camera frames will drop from 10 fps to maybe 8 or 6 it depends on the 3rd party lenses, only native lenses can make the full. camera frames and Sony 300mm is an f/2.8 which is a huge difference in wildlife photography, investment in lenses, not Cameras
Красивейшие фотографии!!!И девушка очень Красивая!!!
Q: Who is filming you filming the wildlife? Full credit to him/her. They are a good photographer also.
Absolutely beautiful
Got a question.. does it fits one iPad?
which ipad are you referring to?
😆. I do that all the time. As soon as I’m holding one of my lenses. Spot on😊
