Just what I needed! I've been trying to get into this bear of a mod.

I think you should be able to understand the person you were ten years ago, but you shouldn't still be that person. There's a balance to be struck between change / development / growth on the one hand, and whatever "being yourself" is on the other. Some people think "being yourself" means resisting change. This attitude produces friction between the self and all the surfaces of life and time which, in moving around us, exert pressure and induce movement and cause change. To resist all this, to be an immovable object, is to be someone that others bounce off, hard. To be unchanged by events is to refuse to learn from experience is to repeat the same mistakes. I have known people like this. I believe our purpose in life is to exist in relationship to each other, to create community, to cooperate, to change and be changed until we take the shape that fits with other shapes. Tessellation. Metaphorically speaking.

Every now and then I come back to this one. Mostly for that squatch combat and the cow combat analysis.

I've heard about car crush thing. Car always gets crushed in my games because I'm not going to kill crab when I know Quistis will do the cool thing. So I don't know if true. You should probably contact the kid from your primary school for answers. Also the literature lied to me about avoiding bridge crab. I am happy I now have the answer from video game expert. Mr. Beast wrote the bad bridge literature. In this game, instead of BOOK, Rinoa is Quinoa. This game is an exception to the rule. Also really good video, and thanks for sharing!

So I have a story about dioxine. . I met him in a pub once. I was surprised to see him there, considering that I don't often go to pubs, im usually online. Also, what are the chances? But there he was. he had a pint of Guinness, which helped me strike up a conversation without too much awkward trouble. I knew it was him because ive seen his photos shared by him on discord. I also had a pint of Guinness. at this point you are going to need to know that I had a massive obsession with tractors. Ever since I was little I played with little tractors. And ever since I was big, I have enjoyed seeing big tractors in tractor fairs. This is important because on this day, I still had a tractor badge on my bag. You should also know that when sober I get quite stilted in conversation. After commenting on our shared choice of drinks, and that I liked his watch, I didn't know what to say. I'd asked him where he got it, and I got a simple answer. Meeting new people is terrifying. But dioxone is very polite in person, despite his online behaviour, and was very good at moving past my awkwardness. He helped me out by asking about my tractor badge. Turns out, dioxine likes tractors. Fun fact: when he was a kid, he got a poster of a tractor and he put it above his bed. And, like me, he had a few toys of them when he was little. I however, took off my once-prided tractor badge, and set it down on the bar. I tried to give it too him saying that I didn't want it. Truthfully I had meant to take it off that morning. I ordered more beer. I had split the G on my Guinness already, and I wasn't planning to slow down. Now dioxine seemed curious about my obsession with tractors, and to his credit, asked me about it. It's weird to have someone youve met online ask about your life, but I hadn't actually said that I knew who he was. So he was fine Also I seemed to be just in the right space of mind to respond with over sharing. I told him about how I used to collect tractor stickers and keep them in a book, how I got a little model engine, and tinkered with it with my dad. I told him that as soon as I could i dropped out of school to get an apprenticeship with a local tractor engineer. I regret this now, as I didn't have the brain for it. So, I told him about how after a few months I got work as a farm hand. Which admitedly was great fun as I could drive the farm forklift, the quad bike, the pickup truck, I could herd cows, and best of all, I could take my employers tractor out for a spin. By this time I felt a little weird. I had been talking for a minute, and he wasn't looking at me, so while he seemed present, I wasn't sure he wasnt just enduring me. So I ordered a third beer. He asked why I'd gone off them so suddenly. Which brought me to why I was on my third pint in quarter of an hour. At the local ceilidhs, I had met the love of my life. She was a farmer's daughter, and plenty experienced herself at the wheel. After dancing together we went to a tractor fair, where I decided she was the one. She was the love of my life Fruity. One of those people you only meet once. It's pretty hard to say this, but it's important because I had ended up telling all this to Dioxins. Pouring my heart out in public over a bar. Pretty sad. Especially to Dioxine.... Im still sore about this, and really running into someone like him at this point was not ideal timing. Especially not for my dignity. He seemed to encourage me. I guess he was in the mood for a random guy to start trauma dumping on him that day. perhaps he was just stuck listening. A month before I ran into him, me and her went on a camping trip. Id forgot to mention but I had got my own tractor, and it turned out she was pregnant. So this camping trip was meant to be a celebration. We both had insomnia, so that morning, when all was still misty and twilight gloomy, we decided to go for a ride. When we came to the gates of the camp neither of us wanted to get out and open them. I was slightly scared by the spooky light and so I made her go and open the gates. At this point dioxine, who I repeat is weirdly polite in person, and was holding my tractor badge actually asked if I was ok. It was a gift from her. As she valted over the gate, and pushed it open, ginning in her lively way, the accelerator pad on my peddle slipped up, jamming into the joint in the accelerator housing. The tractor jolted forward and I didn't react in time. The ambulance came within two hours. I had to wait. They got her to the hospital. She passed within two days. The guilt from this is still something that keeps me occupied when I can't sleep at 5 am. I didnt want that tractor badge anymore. In the pub we realised that thick black smoke was billowing out of the kitchen. We heard literal screams as the regulars realised the pub was on fire. Dioxine is not exactly an IRL action hero and was in a state of panic trying to get me to escape the pub with him, but at this point I would not budge. I started angrily at the smoke, I couldn't get out of my head about how everything he loved was going to be destroyed. And Dioxone was not doing well either.. like, I know this sounds crazy fruity, pubs don't just set a light. But I assure you everything in this story is absolutely, definitely true. I stood up finally. And dioxine stopped yelling at me But instead of leaving, I wordlessly started breathing in. I sucked in the air, drawing in the smoke, kept breathing in; sucking in the air with a massive lung capacity. Soon i starvd the room of oxygen and the fire died out. I then matched us out of the pub into the fresh night air and breathed out; all of the smoke I had inhaled billowed out from my mouth in front of a stunned nazi and a small congregation of pub regulars. When all the smoke had finally dissipated, dioxine finally spoke. "how on earth did you manage to inhale all that smoke and not die? It was unbelievable!” I turned to him and said solemnly: “It’s easy when you’re an ex-tractor fan”

Certified uncle gamer here. I'm very familiar with the queasy feeling of being a huge war nerd as well as being skeptical, at best, of real-life military solutions. The city I live in has a garrison of F35s, and every time one goes roaring overhead, I'm caught between being in awe at one of the most genius and complex machines that humankind has ever built and wondering how many lives could have been improved with the funds used to build it.

I think a Gal should be named Kissy Boots, as a double homage to Homestar Runner and Shantae. I read someplace recently that if you middle-click on a research you can get a bit of an overview on it? So the differences between the various kinds of ass-captain, for example, are less obtuse? idk.

I feel like the game designer might have thought something like: "Accuracy is kinda like dexterity... And a handgun is smaller than a rifle, like a dagger is smaller than a sword... Something something rogues thieves... So, like, many pistol shots balances against single rifle shots???" As if gun combat balance were analogous to melee combat balance. Alternatively, they just intended to make thieves the ultimate lifeform.

As someone who once played through Final Fantasy with a party of "Ulti," "Mate," "Poor," and "Boy" in memory of a convenience store sandwich I once considered but did not consume, I'm all for BOOK whether or not I ever get to know *why* BOOK. My favourite campaign

Fruity is real and needs to not take campaign advice from a guy (me) who consistently operates in the red financially and has never actually finished a campaign.

Fruity is real and so is that spooky distress signal. I'd praise the mod for its scrapie opening, using whatever you have at hand and having to look around for bits and bobs to replace your staring gear. I'd praise the mod for making melee combat something that is not just "an opportunity for casualties" like most other mods. Praising the "fan service" is never something I can get behind, if I'm looking for "name your fun" I'll go looking for "fun by name" I'm not saying you can't have "vary specific anesthetics" on the side, I love old 40k after all but pointing to this mod and saying it's good because of all the stolen art is a choice I just can't get behind. Then you get to the "writing" and "world building" and I'm not sure we're dealing with people anymore, yes this was all written down and presented to us without a shred of self awareness but I'm not sure that should be praised. There's a very real difference between wearing your inspiration on your sleeve and just taking an idea from elsewhere adding a sprinkling of your own idea and calling it a day. As a side note I really hope that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is based on Roadside Picnic is still a well known fact and not deep lore, I already feel old.

It's difficult for me to understand feeling uneasy about a wargame being used to simulate and prepare for real war. Shouldn't it be more troubling to find oneself capable of enjoying a wargame divorced from real-world context? Isn't our ability to tell ourselves "this simulation of violence is acceptable because it's only a simulation" kind of just mental gymnastics to justify enjoyment of violence? I say this as someone who enjoys playing many video games containing violence.

As a certified uncle, this game looks interesting. Not sure how I never heard of it before. Looking at it on steam I'm gonna have to put the Fortress Italy game on my wishlist, if it ever goes on sale for something affordable I'll have to pick it up... maybe.

Fruity is real, It's not as dramatic to say but agriculture is nearly as old as conflict, less flashy but more necessary. I am frequently a war gamer ant the idea of combat mission's control scheme is something that really appeals to me, especially since I've begun a very one sided grudge with people who must be in full control of everything at all times and even a moment of interruption has them throwing a tantrum. Your opinion of conflict in general and the people who are in the the trenches is, in my unqualified opinion, perhaps a bit simplistic but I'm going to call that a limitation of the format, this was a video you made for your own reasons not an essay on your personal beliefs. I'm willing to bet your thoughts and feelings are much deeper and more complex than would be responsible to put in a video, this has been a very long winded way of saying "I disagree with you, but I still respect your." Cheers from a guy who's taxes fund k*IIlng fewer bapies next time.

I find it funny and sad, the things you can see on UA-cam yet we have to censor fake non human ( as in computer graphics). More so pixel graphics looking like a game from the 90s.. Sad indeed

I played FF8 for the first time just a couple of years ago, and I bounced off it hard because the systems were basically the only part of the game I liked. Drawing, junctions, GFs, transmogging items: cool. However, the story is abject nonsense, as you say, and I didn't particularly like any of the characters. I stuck it out till the end out of principle, but I think I'll never play this game again.

Don't you dare slander Triple Triad. Triple Triad is my favorite mini game out of the whole series. FF9's card game was so dissapointing.

Fruity is real. Firstly I too played croc and gex on the original play station, those were days, who knows where I'd be if I had encountered FF8 at such a formative age. Secound creation and expression can be very rewarding my main trouble is after making something I want to show it off, then most people are supportive and find something about my work to compliment, compliments make me uncomfortable, this negative loop hasn't stopped me from making things or showing them off. Not yet anyway. Three, there are many words to describe your attention situation, some of those words come with life long subscriptions to medications that you will be assured are absolutely necessary... according to the man selling the pills. Use your own judgment and stay safe. Four. I came hear for the deeply strange, horny, and oddly fever dream like XCOM mod. I subscribed for the unapologetically human fruity. You do what you want and I'll put eyes on it.
