If I am one of those rich Indonesian, I will definitely and no doubt park my money in Singapore. Singapore has a strong government and secure financial hubs. In Indonesia everything is corrupted. Everyday you will hear corruptions and extortions everywhere and even from the highest of government levels. Indonesian Law system can be bought with people who can afford them. The government will not pay even though they loses a case in courts. DO NOT BRING BACK YOUR MONEY FROM SINGAPORE!!

I still don’t get why Indonesia keeps playing the victim, acting like Singapore is the bad guy here. The money is leaving because of our own stupidity-corrupt officials from the lowest level all the way up to the top. Even schools and universities are filled with corruption. Why blame others for your own mess? This is such a thug mentality-always demanding respect, always desperate for validation. The recipe for attracting investment is actually simple: 1. Enforce the law 2. Get rid of illegal fees 3. Make business licensing easier But what’s the point of talking big if corrupt cops just get reassigned instead of fired and jailed? What’s the point of putting up “no tipping” signs when the moment you step out of a convenience store, you still hear “prit... prit... prit...”? And how do you expect businesses to thrive when even getting a tax invoice is a nightmare? Yeah... good luck with foreign investment!

There is too much corruption in Indonesia. They don’t want to executed officials like China does. Business revenues are nothing compared to the government budget they embezzle. Just look at what’s happening in the U.S. now -the numbers are astronomical. (they are screwed, not just corrupt but absurd policies) When your first priority is addressed, everything else will fall into place
