I tried this thing with the moat on my first attempt, but they would just immediately send a bunch of slaves to undig it and burn all my stone and iron down. Also, I've played this game almost my whole life and never has it allowed me to increase stone amount on a catapult or trebuche above 20
No wonder they cost u a bloody fortune

For me who has beaten Stronghold Crusader extreme this is a very normal and easy mission.
respect. I play becasue the game because I enjoy the concept very much but I'm not very good at it. I tried to have 1 go at extreme and after 1 hour I promptly uninstalled it.
The biggest pain was defo the catapults in this one, with aggressive AI at least, so avoiding walls and towers is defo a good idea. I'd often make a maze with low wall then just draw moat around it and destroy the wall, gives much finer control 😄
How did you quickly build multiple ballistas and shields so fast without having to individually tell each engineer what to make?
That's a community patch that's the game's company officially accepts called UCP look it up it has so many more features that make the game even better and better
I feel bad for the youtuber. he has way beyond 4000 watch hours but only 800 subscribers. this is brutal
My strats was killing the caliph in the beginning with some assassin + good things (+25 damage bonus) and take his money, the rest just spam tower with balista and crossbow

Recently i came back to stronghold crusader and this mission was very easy to me. On the other end missions 41, 48, 50 seem impossible to me

Do you think this is doable without moat and shields?
Yes but it will need you to cheat since the opponents will start using trebuchets and all that stone stuff and then it will be very difficult. plus ur walls will get attacked near the stone area. I have tried it thats y i can tell.

Me and my dad have played and finished the first trail like 10 different times throughout my life, but this was definitely the hardest mission in stronghold crusader BY FAR. The catapult rush from Richards as well as the hill disadvantage makes is insanely difficult. If it wasn't for the stockpile move, i have no idea how it could be completed.

Download the UCP unofficial patch/update. There is a custom setting to do that. Also lot other custom setting to make the ai much aggresive and smart

so what’s the point of the fear factor? (i’m new to stronghold world)
negative fear factors helps you collect resources faster, so better economy but makes troops deal less damage. positive fear factors makes your workers lazy so less resources are collected, worse for economy but makes troops deal more damage.
The moat close the stones was a nice one, shields do not wanna climb the towers for me tho
