This is the soundtrack for the OVA adaptation of Kakugo No Susume by Takayuki Yamaguchi otherwise known as Apocalypse Zero everywhere else. The Manga by Yamaguchi is a fantastic work of fiction and is a huge personal fav of mine. It's one I highly recommend and feel it hasn't gotten the proper credit in the west that it deserves.
The OVA adaptation is pretty good. I have nostalgia for it because it's one of the first anime I saw and was instantly grabbed by because Kakugo no Susume was nothing I've ever seen. The OVA only lasted for 2 episodes, but as an adaptation of the source material it does a decent job, mostly in it's second episode.
Takashi Kudo's score is really good all around, This soundtrack use to be something I wanted for a while as the music in the OVA drawed me and I did eventually get it making it my first import CD. While the score is all around good, The Real highlight is the theme song Kakugo Complete sung by legendary singer, Hironobu Kageyama. This and MD Geist were what made me a fan of him and I still feel this song is awesome and perfectly suites what Kakugo No susume is all about.

Dark Sector Review - Digital Extreme's Forgotten Action Game

There were many action games during the 7th gen, some were good, others were not, but one besides many others stands one of the first games I think of regarding, and that game happens to be made by the team who co-created Warframe and the Unreal Tournament Series, THIS is Dark Sector. Estoy que busco como loco la melodía tétrica de la torre Sigma, y nada :'(
This video brings me great joy
0:06 I see what you did there with that sync.
Some times it took me a bit of time because the galive abilities mostly the after touch and element explosion is kinda hard to get because i speed read through it and the specific actions for the controller wasn't in the settings
This is fucking hilarious
Finally found it!
Gundam X is a good show.
Joe Biden on Election Night 😅😂
Joe Biden right now.
Literally Biden's plan! 😂
And Trump's
Jesus i forgot how much the opening slaps.
Makes sense
It's just interesting to me that After War Gundam X is one of the more obscure entries in the Gundam franchise, and yet it is the one with perhaps the most widespread meme outside of the Gundam fandom.
@@matteste yeah It’s one of the less mainstream ones but I can tell you that it has a pretty dedicated cult following, myself included. it’s a good line too even within the original context.
@@MD_Chaos Yea, I count myself amongst that cult following as well.
Súper , I have been looking for it for years !!!!! Thank you so much!!!!
Cool
I enjoyed playing dark sector, gears of war and turok on the PS3 back in 2008. Games today have really lost their masculinity.
Great video bro
I don't really get the appeal of this gu-- *lil head pops out* OOOHHHHHHH
Wish Bandi released the OVA's soundtrack alr so we can have the FLAC files

Thank you, M.D Chaos for uploading this OST! I honestly didn’t even know this existed even as someone who loves the OVA adaptation. I’m glad there’s people out there online who love Kakugo no Susume as it’s one of the best things I’ve ever watched. It’s a shame this series is seen in a terrible light here in the anime fandom. I hope more people look into the manga as it’s fully translated to the end so there’s no excuse at this point.
Mecha is my favourite anime genre and Macross is my favourite anime franchise, so Kawamori always has a place in my heart. Add to that I didn't actually like mecha when I first got into anime. It was the fighter jet aspect of Macross that got me into watching it, then I fell in love with giant robots. Kawamori definitely has a specific style. Not all his designs just look like the VF-1, but he likes to design machines with speed in mind. Even in his bulkier designs, there is a slickness with design features from racing cars and jets. I don't think he particularly likes slow, lumbering robots. He's very hit and miss when he has a hand in the story, but the man is a master of mechanical design.
Interesting points about him not being into slow robots. And yeah Kawamori as a story creator can be kinda dodgy, I think aquarion and Macross Delta are him at his best.
Thank you for uploading this
this and QUANTUM THEORY are two games that needs a remaster in 2024.
@@EpicLebaneseNerd I don’t think DS needs a remaster, but Quantum theory could kinda work since it’s only been a console exclusive.
I love the way they tried so hard to make this song sound like sang by Kenny Loggins 🤩🤩🤩
Nice

The fact you gave kill.switch a proper shoutout makes me happy. No one gives it the credit it deserves.
I actually haven’t gotten the chance to play Kill switch yet, but I think you’d be crazy not to mention it’s place in shaping third person shooters.
Hot take but I REALLY want a Biopunk 3rd person shooter/action game like Dark Sector again. Warframe is fine don't get me wrong. I just like the more modern-ish setting and going up again enemies with increasingly more badass powers. I grew up on Guyver, and my favorite OVA being Baoh. One of my favorite moments in recent RE was when you play as Pierce and grow a giant arm cannon.
Nah same, love the aesthetic of games like this, the Prototype series, etc. Big reason why I'm also a huge fan of classic Doom's setting, I love the flesh and metal aesthetic.
Dark Sector is the kind of game that makes me feel nostalgic of late 00's 7th gen edge like Dead Space and Prototype. It's a shame they completely abandoned it in favor of Warframe.
I hope people change his view of this manga, cause personally I found it deeply interesting and full of personality.
Amazing
Little tidbit, Warframe allows you to equip a glaive as your melee weapon and it works the same way as it did in Dark Sector. What's even better is that there's an Weekly Act called Ways of the Old in which you're required to kill a certain number of enemies equipped with only a Glaive and a Pistol in your loadout The Technocyte Virus was reworked for Warframe as a more cosmic, eldritch horror that created the Infested. As a further nod to Hayden weaponizing the virus, one of the Warframes you can get is Nidus, which uses that same virus as its main gimmick in its Abilities, mutating and evolving himself as he infects more and more enemies I'm only just now seeing that black market and it definitely got referenced as the dealer Darvo. Same accent, too.
Thank you from 2024 and forever ❤😊
I think it seriously speaks to how incredibly powerful Jet Alone was when Eva 01 had to SPRINT to keep up when it was just walking, and it took everything Eva 01 had just to get it to stop.
What's the game at: 1:18?
That would be Insomniac's Fuse
@@MD_Chaos Oh, that game. Heard it wasn't very good.
Relatable.

is that resident evil 3 remakes ending song at the end of the video?
No it’s the credits song to Resident evil 3, not the remake
