Disney California Adventure is now so much better since it was opened. Now the park making its name on the map. DCA is now not behind Disneyland Park and other Disney parks.

This was the exact day i was born. i found out in 2010 that im basically twins with California adventure on my birthday when i went.

Tip for people who wants to make this in the feature, never light the water from the back because it will blind your audience. Light it from the bottom front.

The opening ceremony looks more like an Olympic ceremony than a theme park opening, especially a disney one. Even the dedication declares a disney theme park lacking disney itself.

Trying to be disneysea-ish with all the sun lady, ocean and stuff...and it failed.

That's because Disney has a child friendly event. Haunt is specifically targeted for 13+. It's the kind of stuff you'd see in a PG-13 movie. It's an upcharge and says EVERYWHERE that it isn't meant for young kids, then the show & the map warn you that it may be inappropriate. Not to mention, nobody is making anyone watch the show or even pay to come to the event. Part of what's cool about Haunt is its appeal toward adults. Can't handle it? Go to Disneyland and hold hands with Mickey Mouse.
