If I was still in the business I’d probably tig weld the casing and prop it up in my CNC and re machine the stop tab. Or as an alternative machine it off smoothly and make a mountable Tab from tool steel that won’t sheet off so easily.
So replace the battery? I'm having this same problem, and it's stalling when I'm trying to crank it.
