The little piece you said make sure it doesn't fall out @ 7:01. Mine broke somehow. Do you know the part number or name? Little plastic screw holder sucks. I was able to put it all back together without it. Now the handle is just a little wobbly.

@@ya_boi_zak5927 yea, can i facetime you or text you? i can compensate you for your time. as soon as i start the car it goes "high engine temperature , stop safely" i cant accelerate or anything. the coolant is full to the brim, but it doesn't even flow at all when i start the car.
Mine did the same just reset the codes with an obd scanner and it'll be good

What was the torque specs on the coolant outlet
I'm not sure. I just tightened it by hand. You should be good to go as long as you don't overtighten it.
Did you replace the seal behind the first one you took out? I didnt see where it goes.

I looked around the engine bay and found coolant sitting on top of the transmission case. I looked closer and noticed drips coming out the water outlet pipe.
How to replace Coolant tank Hose (DG9Z8C289B)? There is so many things don't let me do that :(

You won't believe me but I checked everything. Fuses, relays and clutch sensor on the line. I unplugged my compressor and plugged it back in and it works fine now. I do appreciate your video I marked ac on that relay u pulled. I'm guessing my connection wasn't good? Idk it works now

Glad it helped. Did u buy a new one or a used one? I got a used one from the junkyard and it worked perfectly. Only once it didn't wanna open but then it started to work. I guess the locks get dirty on the inside from time to time. It's working fine now.

From reading the comments and watching the first video you made with the bolt, this pin seems like the best route. I can’t get my focus to click into any gears at all and all the linkages are fine and the clutch pedal has feeling. Assuming this has to be my issue. Thanks so much and keep us updated on how this fix works for you.
Also, i haven’t taken the shifter housing off but im more than assuming this is the issue. It’s an 08 focus and has 240k miles and was strong as a horse and all of a sudden stopped going into gear. That being said if I don’t find the original pin should I be too concerned about it in the tranny case? Im gonna drain the fluid and maybe run a magnet around if it’s not in the tower assembly but if it starts to shift after adding fluid I guess I’ll just take my chances if I don’t find it 😂💀
@@H2O_Details the issue is most likely the broken pin. When I took my shifter housing off I found the pin still in the housing, broken into 2 pieces.

Got a pic of it? You should still be able to pull on the wire and open the hood. You jus have to get a good grip on it.
