Burning the stator from an electric motor is not the same as burning wire. There’s no environmental impact and any company that rebuilds electric motors will burn the stator and armature before pulling the wire. I don’t put my stators on a fire, I use my torch with a rosebud tip and control the flame to the sections I’m pulling out. My yard knows the difference between burnt wire and stator wire. Ask your yard if they’ll distinguish the difference.

What would be cool is putting another electric motor to pull the wire through and roll it up. And for wire that is bent a lot you could run it through a pipe about 2-3 ft long before feeding it into the cutter/splicer to help straighten it. Seems you know how to acquire copper wire and can make some nice money . Interesting
