@@Defianthuman yes it was. Just something that our town always does when a athletic program wins a state championship. The band won state championships and got a police escort back into town.

@@floridianschoolbus1 I have only driven one of these with a 466 once. All of the ones we had around here had the 444. I didn’t really have a preference when I bought this one, I just came across this one and got it.

@@alexandergrube6437 they’ll keep doing that as long as manual doors are still an option. I’m definitely not complaining about the manual doors, but I hate the hydraulic brakes.

My registration was $47 and insurance is $34/month thankfully.

@ Wow! That is amazing. I would love for it to be that easy here! I’m trying to figure out an alternative but I think what’s going to hurt me is the insurance.

@ soon it may be mandatory for air break buses the national transportation and safety administration are doing testing right now and to see what is most effective for the weight of each bus and what break system is the most appropriate for the buses we all pretty sure that anything bigger than a van sized bus will require to have air breaks unless you are in a totally flat area

@@paperairplanes3562 I’m not sure. I was supposed to drive another one this Tuesday, but it has been canceled. It may be a while before I get another one.

@@jerrysylvesterjr I’m definitely an IC guy myself. Not a fan of the Vision’s, but they do have a little bit nicer specs than the 2012 CE I drive now. The bus I drive now could not get any more bare bone stock and it’s a hard adjustment coming from the bus I had last year.

@@IceTheFanDude all of the CE’s we have left are 09’s and 12’s. A few 2005’s for spares.

@ our Vision’s range from 2018-2024.

I am driving a couple field trips in the next few days, hope to record some then. It will be February and March before I drive anymore band trips.

@ thanks! The LED headlights look awesome at night, the camera just doesn’t do them justice.

I don’t work for the district with those buses, I only drive trips for them occasionally. I get videos of them when I can.
