What is the best way to shift into 4x4 high. In park, neutral or while moving in drive?
Modern transfer cases are good either way. Just don’t be applying acceleration to the motor. I coast while moving or do it while parked. Whichever is convenient at the time.
ua-cam.com/video/PtVLwkh6HtQ/v-deo.html Viscous coupler is repairable and there is silicone based oil inside. Mine coupler leaked oils out and starts keeping banging noise.
Nice, I guess I have a fixable coupler sitting around. A lot of people are not fixing the miled out ones that aren’t worth much. I bet there is a lot of these couplers on shelves.
thants it works no more money need to be spent wooooooooooooooo
Enjoy your printer. Glad it helped.
Got a video for the AWD transfer case from a charger pursuit
I do not……
THANK YOU KING
Your welcome, King
Y have a cuestión my Frend have a problem wen har put the car in drive the make big noise like stoke and then go
Does the noise happen in 2WD and 4WD?
Great video
I appreciate it.
i have a similar tower the thing is: the lighting is never enought. those things are best put outside or at worst on a balcony with somekind of rotating feature.
I have only ran two harvests of lettuce, but both times it worked good. Both had a small amount of natural light available
Thank you so much for this perfect display, you also explained everything even I could easily understand. This is how all educational videos should be shot
Right on! Great comment
Top Explantation!
I’m happy you liked it
How did you prime the pump? I’ve got the same unit and I can’t figure it out?? X
Just power it on. It will turn the pump on for a period of time. If it isn’t enough to prime, then just start it up again. Takes 3-4 times
I have a 390 that had a stuck valve. I took the head off like you have here. Disassembled it. Got un stuck. Put it all back together. Now I can see the valves moving fine with the cover off. But when I put the spark plug back in I can’t pull the recoil starter. I did set the lash clearance at .006 and .008 before. So any idea why the recoil won’t turn only when the park plug is in?
The decompression lever on the camshaft could be faulty. Also the valves need to be set with the piston at TDC of the compression stroke. If it was set in any other position, that could cause it as well
@ thanks. I will look into the decompression lever. Need to find videos on that.
@@autotech4103 I wonder if it’s the decompression release lever if it would be under Honda’s Warranty. It’s not a very old machine.
@ they have grounds to deny you if it’s been put together incorrectly. It’s worth a go….
I think that boat is a little small 😂
I won’t give you the speech about the size of the boat not being important…..lol
I know it all but it is always nice to see someone having an assembly like that for display. And that is the reason I came here. Just to watch it in peace. Thumbs up from me :)
Definitely a good visual trainer. Thanks for the comment
What’s that base you’ve used?
I bought a ceramic pot that had close dimensions to a 5 gallon pail. I wanted a more attractive pail. I had to modify the lid file to get it to work properly.
How come whenever I mention Cura in 3d printing reddit or discord ppl say7 its old and not supported anymore and to not use it.
Because Orca slicer and Bambu studio are very trendy right now. Cura confuses a lot of people and they opt for more custom profiles in Orca. I use both, and spend more time with Orca as well. Cura works just fine.
@@autotech4103 Cura doesn't let you do things like edit supports and strengthen parts of an object tho.
@ that’s some of the main reasons to use Orca. For beginner printers printing off of thingiverse, they would never try those things. Lots of young kids have printers as well. I recommend Orca. But I can also make Cura work most of the time just fine.
@@autotech4103 I used cura for a while, but I just tried Creality Print 5 and its alot nicer.
Hi man! Love the video! question do you use cura or crealityslicer? If you use cura can you make a video about how to create a profile for this printer?please!?😅
Yes I can
ua-cam.com/video/-0MGo_pCm_M/v-deo.html
I had one today hence why I'm probing for answers, I have the K1 "Speedy" so my hot nozzle isn't long, its just the tip compared to the full size high temp ones, one of my jams was in the extruder, which i cleared like you, yet it still wouldn't extrude and kept clicking, come to find out, another jam was just below the extruder gear box, and just above the short hot nozzle, inside that BRAIN housing below that YZ axis bar, I'm talking jammed, took me 5 hrs to get it out, thought it was a goner, final solution was to take off the hot nozzle heat up the push rod, then stick it thru the bottom, and keep twisting that hot poker till it comes out the other end, I'm new to this and the amount of force required to get it out was mind-blowing for what I thought to be a "delicate precision" machine, Nope... Its ALLLL MACHINE a WELL built one too!! Ran a huge print after with NP, like it was brand new!! Thanks Creality!! And to you for this post!!
Right on! The way these printers operate, I can assume the filament must be top notch as well in the process. It’s that one variable that can definitely have inconsistencies through out the roll. I send you clogless wishes.
Wow thank you this shows it perfectly.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
What could cause a loud clicking from my transfer case. It started out of the blue and its loud 😞
I would first rule of the driveline as it would be difficult to distinguish. Removing the front driveshaft could help in the process to eliminate it from the equation. Loose chain could cause a chain slap or tick for sure.
@autotech4103 would it still drive if I removed the front drive shaft ? I did think possibly the chain. I'm absolutely gutted I love this car. Thank you for your reply it's much appreciated
@ yes, it would drive just fine
@autotech4103 I thought it would on most but it's a RR sport so has silly computers and such and it's not switchable from 4x4 to 2wd like most 4x4 are. No harm in trying I suppose. Thanks :)
@ it will probably trigger a traction control/ABS light. You can just disconnect the battery to clear them after diagnosis.
Trying to set my new printer up and I cannot get the nozzle to go any closer to the plate than about 1.5in. I have scoured the internet, and I cannot find any answers. The software is all up to date. I'm at a loss.. please HELP!!
1.5inches is very extreme. The big screws under the bed that have the springs must be completely compressed. I’d start by letting the bed go up by turning those screws in the direction that releases the spring tension. Then I’d bed level and set zoffset like in this video.
@@autotech4103 they were actually completely decompressed. the biggest issue was that when I would hit auto level it wouldn't do anything except go to home and stay far off the plate. I ended up removing the bottom Pannel and checking all of the mother board wiring and it turns out there was a loose connection. running my first print now!
@ happy printing!!
nice video, was contemplating building a 4 tower gig with long lights like you have running through the middle. downside to this would be i can only have 1 row per each tower running on the inside part (towards the light).
The LED lights get hot on the metal backing side of them. You don’t want them contacting the plant or it kills it.
Thank you 🎉
You are very welcome!
Hi mate hope you okay. I really need someone to help me because in my country no one knows what is this and im so sad with that. I have a problem in my G class 400 cdi year 2003 chassis nr ( WDB 463 333 1X14 1219 ) When im about to stop on a trafick or whatever and when gear is about to go from 3-2-1 i hear some vibration in my car and the gear box its not changing gear in the perfect time when u about to stop. Its feels like someone is hitting you from the back. Please let me know how do i find that part . Best Regards
Is this after you are driving at highway speed? Could be a torque converter that isn’t unlocking??
@@autotech4103 yeah perfectly. When im pressing that gas harder or when im forcing that car there is this problem. Can you tell me what is this please ?
@@SaimirAllaraj not over messages. It needs to be properly diagnosed. Could be control circuits, bad parts, solenoids…….
Hello, Im in the same boat but I actually found one at the "pick a part" for $90! Someone had already removed the front part that connects to the drive shaft so it was loose in housing, wondering is it simply the nut holding it in housing? Is there a replaceable bearing in the housing? Thanks for the video!
It is pretty easy to remove, just take out the bolts. There is no bearing that you need to change. Good luck with the found part. $90 is a steal if it works.
Well even though (I think it’s pla) pla doesn’t release any fumes but it does release a plastic smell and if you don’t like that smell I recommend you move it somewhere or get an enclosure since you are using it right next to your pc
I’m a mechanic. Little plastic fumes are the least of my problems.
Valve cover bolt on the GX390 is 24N-m, or 17 lb-ft.
The shaft of our bolts are large like an 8mm but the threads are a 6mm. We broke quite a few of them torquing to 17. We go to 7. At the end it just needs to contact the gasket all the way around. Not my favourite design…….
@@autotech4103 Good to know. I have a GX390 with the cover off right now to adjust valve lash. Should be putting it back together tomorrow. I'll stick to 7 lb-ft. This particular engine is circa 2009, and I have no desire to break things.
So you simply removed it then?
Yes. I covered the hole that the driveshaft left to keep debris out
I am trying to find voltage requirements for a 2015 gmc canyon transfer case actuator relay signal wire. Anyone know?
Are you speaking of the grey wire with the black stripe between the transfer case and the control module? Are you planning on supplying that wire with voltage?
I also have one and I like it a lot. It's made by Champion. I had a small hydraulic leak and called Yardworks for support. Once on the phone I realized I was talking to a Champion service rep. I asked them if this model was made by Champion and she said yes. Just a different paint job. Nice video.
They are identical. Good value machine for sure
Nice👌
Glad I could help
As a technician. This is a perfect explanation of a basic 4x4 T case.
Thanks for this comment. Appreciated!!
Okay exelent videu👌👍🔥♥️
Right on! Glad I can help in multiple languages
Did the same thing. We bought a used 15 journey and started with that noise. Deleted rear drive shaft only, and nomore noise. Probably won't even get that part replaced, and having no problems at all, not even any lights.
Crazy price for that part and not available.
How do you not have AWD lights? I deleted the Rear drive shaft as well but I get lights on the dash.
@@DebJep I’m not sure the difference. Mine is a Canadian vehicle, maybe the year difference?
I just removed awd fuse, and noise stops. Or you can unplug it
@ good to know!!
So what was the out come on this repair? I’m getting that clunking when I turn left or right. I checked the mounting brackets and they are good so I’m thinking it might be that thing
Turning more likely would be cv joints, so you might assess those first. If your rear viscous coupler fails, you'll have a sense of the rear wheels not rotating as intended when turning; so a different steering wheel feel, and some tire chirping or skidding noise from the back when turning. Good luck!
That rear coupler was back order from the dealer and the cost was over $3k Canadian. The customer did not want to change it, so I removed it from the car along with the rear driveshaft. Effectively deleting the AWD. To my surprise there was no warning lights on the dash. They are still driving it that way three months later.
If you don’t mind me asking, what is your settings when you make stuff myself keeps on failing
In which way does it fail? Does it have trouble sticking to the bed or does the quality of print turn out bad?
It doesn’t stick on the bed
@@Normalcameramen ua-cam.com/video/nzIkCerorrk/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared
You will want to do the manual bed levelling as shown in my video. After that you can adjust the z-offset in the tuning menu on the printer during your first print. You will move the z-offset down towards the build plate until the filament looks half way squished.
Ty
I hope GMC is watching, but I'm sure all these impossible design features have a purpose. That purpose is to drive people to the dealership for repairs where they can charge 3 times as much as the local mechanics for fixing it. Everything in the auto world is designed for profit, not for the customer.
To be honest, I don’t think the over all project matters. They slap together a bunch of parts made by different companies and call it a day.
Hi, It says im unable to add it to cura?
Add a non network printer and the Anycubic Vyper should be an option
9:36 I don't like putting two wheel weights in different spots of the outer rim. Is there a setting or option where it tells me to one wheel weigh on one spot?
This wheel aligner can choose one spot on the inside for stick weights. It should only ever ask for one weight on each side with hammer on. The odd time it doesn’t balance out and you have to add another.
@autotech4103 On regular smart balancing, I know how to put one adhesive wheel weight on the inner side of a rim or outer side of the rim. But I watched different videos about road force balance. What I noticed is the machine told the technicians to put two wheel weights on two different spots on the outer of the rims.
@@fromisheon4867 it all depends on the imbalance found. For most high quality tires mounted on good rims, a single weight solution will be found. But cheap tires or bad rims will often need two places
@@autotech4103 so if the machine asks for two wheel weights on different spots, then most likely bad tires or rims.
Why isn't it printing after you pressed confirm? I have this issue too
It has to heat the hotend and the bed before starting. You should see the temp readings increasing.
Yes there are GX390s without a gear reduction drive. I have one on my pressure washer, attached to a Cat 66DX pump. 4000 PSI, 4.0GPM output from the 13HP engine.
Sounds like a nice washer!!
@@autotech4103 I have a 3D printable file that may really help your students if you'd like it. How can I e-mail it to you? Its for the gx390
I am an entry level mechanic and have done this a couple of times, I'm glad you also showed that not everything is done on the first try
Working on cars is rarely perfect.
Can't you use business card about same thickness , easier to gap. Both sides at same time
It has a 0.016” tolerance so yes. It isn’t very picky
Thank you this helped a lot!!!
Glad it helped!
EXCELLENT VIDEO. I have a well maintained 2009 5.0 mpi that's only had two issues in 16 years: a stuck thermostat and (brief?) overheat, and more recently, a "rumbling sound" with a temperature uptick (without overheat). I shut it off, waited 30 minutes and restarted to get back to dock (not fast). This was surprising because I replaced everything new (rotor, cap, sparks plugs & wires, manifold, risers, elbows, exhaust flaps, impeller, etc.) EXCEPT the engine block itself (but it does have 800 hours). Used in salt but always flushed 15 minutes and recently incorporated salt-away as part of my engine flush procedure. I did go over two large waves earlier in the day (did not see) and went airborne, but the boat ran well all day until out of nowhere, the rumbling sound. Have an appointment coming up to get engine checked. MY QUESTION IS. How much does a NEW 5.0 MPI run these days and any idea what the labor charge would be for the install? THANKS so much.
I don’t run a marine business, as I am a shop high school teacher. I sourced my rebuilt motor from Summit Racing and replaced it all myself. I can see a shop bill being much less then $10k to do the job.
This video helped me out a lot thank you I just bought an ender 3 max neo and for the life of me no matter what I did I could not get it leveled i watched so many videos and tried so many different methods I came across this one and it was able to get it leveled no problem.
Alright, now enjoy that printer. I wish I had a max……
Why are there not singular 0.25 to 2.0 oz weights? Why are the sticky weights only in .25 or .5?
Because all rims are different sizes the arc would need to be different for long weights.
I could kiss you right now!!!. I am having a lot of BLtouch issues, then it wants to work then it doesn't want to work...this vid helped a lot. Bless you, bru!
😘
Thank u.. other videos on bed leveling was confusing
Happy printing!!
