I'm hiking on Durmitor this weekend! great video to get to know the trail a little bit beforehand. One funny thing, back in Mexico we have alot of strays in the mountains, we say that they are the souls of people that sadly passed away there now they take care/guard the hikers on the trails. We say that if a dog follows you on the trail, you will be safe and its seen as lucky

I love the Accursed Mountains. The Peaks of the Balkans Trail was quite the adventure. Lovely people, excellent food, and incredible mountains. Glad you enjoyed your hikes.

Dont be a fool and climb those mountains with the highest concentration of brown bears in Europe without a bear spray . You should watch basic bear documentaries to get an idea of their strength and speed

As a Romanian myself, who has made it to the Omu pick, i can confirm that our Carpathians Mountains truly are special. I love when foreigners from all over the globe come and visit my country and can’t get enough of it. ❤ If only our politicians would come up with a system that benefits everyone and not just them, Romania could be a country like no other, i really believe that.
