First heard the album in the late nineties, deserved a much greater recognition, the frontman is a great singer and composer, it's a shame they were underrated.

RIP Gary Yoder, long live the music from the Bay c.1960's-1970's, especially the Blue Cheer family tree.

Isn't that Gary Yoder singing? At least also some vocals on Blue Cheer's album "Oh Pleasant Hope" Most obviously while the fantastic song I'm the Light"

Second listening here, 7-IV-24, after several years. "It's getting better, all the time..." (with every listening that is). Flowing By is gorgeous.

Is die" The best in this, is that still nearly nobody knows about this. High quality 60s underground right here, before it dies with the honks finally. "It can't be tonight"

First heard of this band on a compilation album called Psychedelic Dream. The track was Lemonade Kid. Brilliant stuff with a melancholic undertone

This is a superb Psych record I just discovered thsi throught the Seeking a thread series I love it .

Sounds like a wild mix of Bob Dylan, The Doors, Donovan, and a small helping of Jefferson.

This is ultimate acid rock. Blows everything else in the genre out of the water. But then again, water's a fluid.

I couldn't get past the 2nd song. The vocals are unbearable

Average vocals, cool guitars, repetitive drums that are often distracting, average song writing that sounds generic for its day. For its time, right at the peak of classic rock, I have to rate this as below average. Probably worth listening to once anyway for the cool guitar bits, but the overall quality is well below that of the very large number of amazing classic rock albums released in that era.
