By far the best delay made by Boss. Sounds as good as the Japan DD3 but have the versatilty that DD3 doesn't have. I've owned many delay's pedals and that DD5 is unique with its cristal clear repeats and it doesn't sound sterile like many digital delays. I love it for the reasons i wrote. People try to find one you will not be disappointed.

Gonna be pedantic here for a sec, but the body really seems to be more low-mids. It definitely doesn't get thumpy. It's right around that 200-400Hz area that's great for that rock grind. With a Fender amp, it'll push more into Supro territory.

I’m a worship guitarist and I don’t know how your tone connects with the group because it’s a isolation mix but I suggest turning down gain maybe even going stereo because all that dry and wet effects are mashing into one mix and it’s getting muddy.

don't hear here the cloud "finesse" and quality sounding, just to take one from the Bigsky for example ... you are right in the way that we probably use only 10% (or even less) of the Bigsky capabilities ... still, these 10% kill all the 100% of all other existing reverb pedals .... this is why I will never sell it even if I will only use one single sound from the Bigsky.

You really can't do reverb justice in mono. Reverb fundimentally doesn't work that way. But I guess if your whole rig is mono this is the best way to go

another option for people and it would cost you less buying second hand is! Wampler Ethereal Delay/ Reverb and a Supro Tremolo they are both crazy good pedals and pair amazingly!

Mode 8-11 isn't going to have any effect on the time knob because 8-11 the time is only controlled by a external tap tempo pedal. Just so you know

Love the RV6. I have Strymon Bigsky, blueSky, Neunaber Immerse mk1, Digitech Polara, TC electronic T2 and finally RV6 and I can say honestly the RV6 is a really, really great sounding reverb pedal. Love it. Its so huge sound scaping machine. The knobs are super responsive with high range. Amazing sounding reverb.

Wish the tremolo went little faster

Dave Phillip's from LA Sound Design's Flint trick; set reverb to "80's," crank the decay, color at 1/2 o'clock and mix between 10/11 o'clock and you'll get this awesome ambient pad under your playing. You won't regret it.
