What did you end up doing about the second rings being .022? I have the same issue with the 2nd rings that came with my JE pistons on my mkiv 3.2 build but mine is staying Na.

Does rear 18Z 4 pots fit on MK6 R, is rear any different to MK5 R32? or different adapter is needed?

TVS is absolute junk. Their maps, their products. They shipped out an upgraded dq250 clutch basket and literally forgot a friction disc, customer installed it, car wouldn't move. I don't think they honored their warranty for it either. Dealing with them is pretty abysmal.

This issue with DQ250 at 7200 I had the same issue with NA. I set everything to 7000 and now it’s fine :)

I've wished soooo many times that my Mk5 R32 had 7 gears. You're totally correct about the revs it pulls in Drive. Far too high cruising at 70mph. The car needs 7 gears. This is on my to-do list (which is more of a wish list).

Any issues with air in the cooler? Does the pump get rid of it while it pumps the oil? When it's off, doesn't the oil drain all the way to DSG causing it to overfill?

great video dude, i noticed they rods are rifle drilled however the bearings had no hole for the oil to feed the top pin? probs wont make much a diffrence as the engines have oil squirters anyway

What power is this pushing now? I wished I’d gone with a 4 motion instead of a 12v for my turbo build. I was thinking the new car could be a G40 (hill climb body kit) but that platform is tired. Mk2 seems to easy of a guess, so it’s either a corrado or because you said vag family an Audi 90.

Well this explains why your setup didn’t work well, you are pushing water in, should go at the top, unless water comes in from the other side, which still doesn’t make sense as cold water should flow from front to back. Also epw40 isn’t the best pump…. Hot water goes at bottom of heat exchanger not at the top, cold water goes out from the top

This build looks so clean... Killing it bro I'm building an A3 with the same engine, but I'm not sure about the head gasket choice, I saw you used Victor Reinz and 10mm ARP studs on your original build, are you still using the same? I'm also in 2 minds about getting the head/block O-ringed..

Hi, love the build! I have a mk2 tt I'm going to build next year myself. With regards to fuel system, with it being returnless, when you fitted the surge tank, did you run new fuel lines including return ?

On the rear R32 caliper. Did you have to plug off or block off any ports on the caliper itself? Then only run the parking brake cable to that caliper and done?
