Many Very pretty little towns. I’ve lived in Rhode Island most of my life and have driven through almost every municipality in Connecticut numerous times. There are traffic jams all the time and even at 1:00am on a Sunday. There is always highway construction. Always. I will admit, I have stated many times to others “why can’t connecticutt just be removed off the map. Every time I need to go anywhere I have to drive two and a half hours through Connecticut first. What’s it here for?!”

Wealthy people are very happy here. They'll say this video is nonsense. The most privileged people are the most delusional and clueless. Thats a fact. Some of the wealthiest people are truly out of touch with reality. Those are the people that will say that there's no problem with CT. They're also the people who are truly socially disconnected and very rude. The rudest people I've ever encountered are privileged and pampered. Hate me! Truth hurts

People in Connecticut are some of the rudest in the country. Second only to NYC. I was born here. School was hell. Yes, the children are also nasty, but not as bad as the teenagers. With very few exceptions, the high school students were unbelievably rude, self centered, vain, selfish, bigoted, cruel and violent. The adults are no different because they never mature past that stage. So there. Hate me Connecticut! You're good at it!

The roads in Waterbury Connecticut are ridiculous, more damage from pot holes than you could imagine.

We bought on the CT Shoreline, with a water view from my yard and 5 minute walk to the beach, and can hear the waves at night when at high tide. We bought the house for $178,000 (4 bedroom, 2 bath in good shape). 1/3 acre level yard with good neighbors. Highways, shopping, restaurants, etc. close by. That was in 1999. Happy ever since.

Oh I got a list. I am buying a commercial property, the bank denied the loan. I asked my agent to get my earnest money back and instead of listing the financing feasibility period she listed the non-finance related feasibility period which is apparently invalid because the title company never collected an option fee from me I was unaware I was supposed to pay (they only requested earnest money). So now I am out $11k on a $1MM plus deal thanks to complete incompetence as she told me it can't be fixed other than begging the sellers which they don't care.

My basement in Michigan was cement walls with pocket windows. I used it for laundry plus it had natural shelving because my house was built on a hill. Miss one in my Texas house now and maybe again when I move sometime to CT.

I appreciate your work and giving people the idea to support local farmers...it's very important...but the Field View Farmer's son, a habitual Drunk Driver killed a women and her teenage daughter 2 weeks before Christmas in 2001..destroying what was left of a family that already delt with enough trauma....Kathy and Brittany will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!

The great things about moving to, and living in Connecticut is the fact you can live happy, balanced lives and raise your family here with fantastic convenience to shopping, restaurants, history (True First In Flight in Bridgeport Connecticut in 1901 with Gustave Whitehead who flew 2 years before the Wright Brothers, confirmed by Jane's Aviation Standard) and the invention of the submarine in New London Connecticut (now where they BUILD Submarines for the Navy), Art Museums, is the ease of employment. Despite the national movement of manufacturing overseas, Connecticut is still sought after as a "go to" location for manufacturing. My Colleagues in a certain industry describe Connecticut as a "Mecca" for manufacturing and a NYC News Reporter described Connecticut, when covering a weather story, as "a big park". That's quite a compliment from a NYC News Reporter living in an over run & over crowded City. (Which of course also NYC has many things deserving of compliments and notoriety).

I am a Stratford resident for 45 years, taxes are ridiculous for what is offered, $475 to flush a toilet, I first moved here it was $45 dollars, house taxes were $1,300, now almost $7,000. Schools scores are down from what they should be, a lot of over paid employees and a few underpaid employees (Blue collar) ! Turning into a Yuppie Haven, no good Trade Workers here ! The Army Plant should have remained in the government hands and be repurposed for other military operations, nope another waste of land !!!

Life is what you make it, sometimes people's reaction to us is a mirror of what we project as a personality. I've lived and raised my family in Connecticut and between how convenient everything is, the mild climate, easy access to resturants, museums, healthcare and sporting events (4 Race Tracks, 2 are NASCAR & the other is frequented by Movie Stars/Lime Rock Raceway), the State runs it's own High Schools which you have to qualify to get in, and you graduate with a State License in a Trade such as Nursing, Machinist, etc.), and Connecticut's very rich History such as the true First In Flight by Gustave Whitehead who flew in 1901, in Bridgeport Connecticut, 2 years before the Wright Brothers did, birthplace of President Bush, Charles Goodyear (Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co.), Connecticut is truly an easy and convenient State to live in and raise a family. (Oh, and there's 8 Vineyards some of which have won awards, the Apple crop is famous, and Connecticut is home to famous Yale University, National winning Teams as UCONN Men & Women's Teams and National Hockey Champs at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT....shall I go on?)

I’m in my mid forties and live in Delaware. I lived in Stratford until I was 13. If I could retire anywhere I want, it would be Lordship, no doubt. Definitely a beautiful area.

I grew up in Connecticut, moved to Florida 10 years ago and now I would love to go back. If you are not a redneck, don’t come to Florida.

Connecticut actually doesn’t have very high housing costs compared to other places. as somebody who moved there, you could get a townhouse for 700k in Cali (where i used to live) whereas in Connecticut you could get a regular, updated home.
