This song. For me it conjures feelings of loss and what once was, the fleeting beauty of this world and this life as a human being. It’s profound, and I find that the only composer who provokes such profound feelings in me is Vangelis. He’s been a massive influence on me as a musician myself. Truly god-like. It connects me to an elevated place of being, and I need not ever step foot in a church to connect with the universe. This is all I need.
