I’d like to ask you something about FCCPT Type 1 Immigration,one of the requiring forms is ‘Request for Verification of PT Licence/Registration,but in Turkey we don’t need a licence to work as a physical therapist,so ı have to send it to my university(that ı received my Bachelor’s Degree)? or any other department like Ministry of Education,Ministry of Health etc?

Hi Mam, I already submitted my documents in FCCPT for NYSED but the problem was the Licensed verification from PRC was not able to make it before my FCCPT deadline ( which was last Dec. 15) . The FCCPT already sent my documents to NY without that one last document on Dec. 16. I tracked the DHL and it already arrived at the FCCPT office last Dec. 30. Will they still sent it to NY? Hope you can give light on this. Thank you.

Hi Doc Jing! I just recently graduated with my BSPT degree and passed the local PT board examination in the Philippines last year. I just have a question about recent BSPT graduates, specifically from the Philippines, who want to fulfill the deficiencies for their degree. Are you aware of any information regarding meeting the equivalency check for those with a tDPT degree and a post-K-12 Bachelor’s degree in PT? Most of the Filipino PTs I'm seeing who are now working in the US went through the previous 5-year degree, but because of K-12, it only took us 4 years. So in this case, is a tDPT enough to fulfill the deficiencies for a post-K-12 Bachelor’s degrees in the Philippines, or are supplementary courses outside a tDPT going to be required? Hello Doc!I’ve mailec to FCCPT but ı couldn’t get an answer for exactly what ı’m asking,gonna ask you if u may know it.I want to apply for FL and it needs Educational Credential Review in FCCPT which is acceptable only for FL,ı know that FL now accepts Master’s Degree but ıdk it can be changed future,so ı want to apply for Type 1 Licencure which is acceptable for many states,and in FCCPT’s website it says Type 1 covers Educational Credentials Review,but when ı asked to FCCPT they said ı need Educational Credentials Review.What should ı do? Also ı wanted to learn about HCWC,first ı should apply for evaluation then for HCWC or the opposite? Thank you!

Thank you for the info. I have applied and had paid $294 to NY and they confirmed me on the phone that I can take NPTE. This was before the rule change. However I do not have any email from NY that I am eligible. Please suggest if I should contact NY or just go ahead and reguster for NPTE? Thank you.
