The randomizer unfortunately doesn't create a log file yet, where everything randomized is listed. Are you sure you changed that TNT strat settings in the randomizer? Default being "Swap", it will randomize the Digimon, alongside the TNT Ball drop. So try a few encounters, there's a chance you will drop TNT Ball from that new Digimon. If you're certain that you changed it to "Shuffle" though, then it'll be rough... Either try your luck finding the Triceramon with the limited encounters you have without progressing the game, cheat yourself a TNT Ball, or start anew 😐

@@mentro6412 Hey so I just looked at the randomizer and it was set for swap, not shuffle, so yea, i can try to fight encounters in tyranno valley, the only things ive seen are Vilemon and alt colored Triceramon, but they arent dropping the TNT? if needed, do u know a cheat for the TNT stuff? Also im playing the game on EPSXE ps1 emulator and it doesnt seem to let me add new cheats other than whats downloaded it seems, so yea.

@@blazingtalongames8896 That sounds promising, one of those 3 Tyranno Valley encounters will be the original Triceramon, and therefore have the TNT Ball as a drop. What you can do is, climb down that small pit, that you also fall in when jumping down from above, because you will always encounter the Triceramon replacement there (alongside a pretty fast encounter rate). 1:02:50 for reference, get an encounter here and just farm it until you'll get the drop! 🙂

@mentro6412 hey I just wanted to say thanks for the help, u found one and got the digiegg. now the tnt ball is the only thing that can cause me to be stuck right? now that I'm past it, I should be good the rest of the game, right? just wondering

Thanks! The game is very robust. It's one of the last PS1 titles, and it shows. And regarding glitches: As far as I'm aware, there are none. But I don't think there's even been anyone that really tried to deconstruct and break the game. So who knows!

And I just realized the level 3 music sounds like if you took both a track from Chex Quest and Mario Kart Wii and mashed em' together.

I swear I've improved quite a bit since then! It's really hurting me to even try to listen or look at my younger self 😅 Regarding the plan for future runs, I am not sure if Any% is what I'd like to do right now, but it might happen. After all, I did jump into World 4 rather spontaneously a few weeks back. Not impossible for it to happen, but don't bank on it.

Were you able to perform it on the GameCube version of the game? I've never gotten that OOB on there (which is the version in the video), though on PS2 it's very easily done, and it is indeed much faster

@@mentro6412 i commented before you mentioned that part 😅still left the comment for your algorithm. i had the ps2 version. maybe it compress's the game differently to other consoles or it's a code thing. it's was prob a nightmare to test bugs sense it would work differently for each console. great vid btw💪

My opinion, but mostly the community agrees (they all come in identical pairs, the only difference among them are the matchups you get, which in itself can also be preference but I'll not go into that): Kong/Tiny: 1st Best in: Tanks Very good in: Polar & Crates Hard to say who's below, because noone is nearly as good to speedrun with as those two, but here's what I think: Cortex/Brio: 2nd Best in: Crates Very good in: Tanks Worst in: Polar Crash/Coco: 3rd Best in: Polar (if you're good at counterpushing they are absolutely busted. Same kinda goes for Kong/Tiny too, though, so this doesn't really help them too much) Rilla/Dingo: 4th Best in: Nothing (Technically, only Rilla is 1 frame faster than anyone else per tile on Pogo games, so he's the best in those. Doesn't go for Dingo) Very good in: Polar

Glad to hear! I recommend Hacker's Memory after you finish Cyber Sleuth, both are very nice games that will feel great if you dig the old school JRPG style like World 3! :)

It's always nice to keep a good amount of variety in a game, but I agree that it works best with a turn-based system, the story games nailed it.

Definitely does take a long time to finish if you're going in blind without a guide, but 6 years seems like a stretch :D Must have been a lot of on and offs inbetween there where he just didn't play

@@mentro6412 His PS1 broken so many times and restarted for 3 times. And he couldn't pass knightmon during his 3rd play. Thanks to God he finished the game in 2009 with guide

@@emilvcloutier Well, you can't really beat Knightmon (assuming you're talking about the one on Asuka Bridge). Once you're in the fight, it's game over. You can't even beat him with cheats :D

@@mentro6412 i know it's impossible. But after passing that sequence you can fight with him again. But 12 y.o Lil Dost couldn't understand whole thing

@@emilvcloutier Yeah the only other beatable Knightmon is very far in the end of the game, right before Magami President. That one's very manageable tho.
