Hmm… to be honest, I don’t use any writing tools or apps. I pray over the idea, write the outline and then when I feel the Holy Spirit leading me, I begin the story. I didn’t know there were writing apps lol

@@therebelchristian yea apps like Scrivener and the like. I have seen people use a variety of apps. Some just use Open Office, some use Google Docs or Word, and others swear by apps like Scrivener.

To be honest, I don’t watch ASMR videos so I am unfamiliar with the sorts of forces that can be attached to secular versions of this content. I would recommend only consuming Christian content if you are having bad experiences with this. This video is simply footage of me writing a Christian book, featuring a verse of the day for encouragement. It is not meant to relax anyone but to inspire Christian authors to write along with me. I titled it ‘ASMR’ because that is simply the category it falls into-the same way Christian meditation is completely different from secular meditation. If some Christians feel more comfortable calling this content by a different name, perhaps just a ‘writing session’ instead of ASMR, that’s fine too. But there are no spirits except the Holy Spirit attached to this channel and its content lol Again, I can’t speak for secular videos because I simply don’t watch them to begin with. But if you feel something is disturbing your spirit and your peace then it may be best to cut it out of your life, even if that means avoiding Christian videos too. I truly hope this helps, but the best possible advice you can receive will be from your own pastor.

This is SUCH a valid statement. I was just thinking the other day about how ‘Christian horror’ would look as a genre but I couldn’t really gather any ideas. This way of thinking definitely opens the door to a lot of possibilities for Christian authors.

I personally think the concept of Christian horror has a lot of great detections it can go here r a few 1. A most likely overused trope is the account of someone who went to hell trope(now hear me out) but it could encourage believers to spread the word to non believers in order to direct them away from that fate of eternal torment. 2. So you notice how in modern works of fiction the younger readers like more menacing characters regardless of morality or what the author intended (such as farther Vader or general grievous or thanos). Now I’m not saying glorify violence but go with the good monster trope (even as it is used often) but with a horror and or Christian twist. For example making a Christian who just so happens to also have a monster like appearance and abilities and general vine trying to prevent some people from wasting their life’s but instead they run away from him in terror only in the end for them to be redeemed after releasing the so called monsters true intonations. Maybe a little sappy but I guess that’s up to u In essence it’s rather than the good guys being scared it’s the bad guys scared wich could be inspiring to some people or maybe not 3 u could go with it not being a story about killing the monster or running from it but instead about forgiving it or trying to teach it about God. Maybe cheesy but it has potential
