Yeah I see where youre coming from. Im currently enjoying playing with yao,katya,siris,and cheno so I cant use her too often. Probably will mostly use her when I need to use a kinetic character for something as I like her more than haru.

Yeah I was kinda tempted to pull for katya on my alt last update but I decided I would rather go for anni characters. Rn Im waiting to see if I should go for mauxir or tess on my main since I feel like kaguya might have a re run soon.

@@unlimitoad What worries me a little about characters I didn't get is that, unless they start to rerun at least 2 characters per patch or introduce randomness in the reruns, there are so many characters now that the older ones will never rerun again or only at special occasions.

@@Maxume Yeah your right the wait times for reruns are going to get ridicoulous if they dont do more banners per update. They could just do rerun banners similar to the ani banners just shortent the list to like 2 maybe 3 characters in the future and have us choose one of them to go for. This way theres technically 2 banners an update you just have more options for the 2nd.

Bro marians outfits are so good for no reason. Honestly if I could afford to spend on the game I would buy like 5 outfits this update. im not complaing,but im confident that new lyfe outfit made her thicker

@@unlimitoad I hope Marian gets more love honestly she is such an underrated character. I don't usually buy costumes but honestly snowbreak has been doing so good and the overall game improvements coming are so nice I might get Marian's outfit just cause I like her so much and to support the devs. Yeah lyfe absolutely got a thick buff 😂 I'm not complaining she looks amazing! I just hope the devs keep a nice mix of character body types because I'm a fan of a variety of ladies.

Yeah Im kinda looking forward to seeing the devs revist older characters now cause I like some of their designs but i never feel like using or pulling for them like marian or chenxing for example.

Atleast the devs have confirmed from what I understand pity on the guaranteed banner will carry over to the anniversary banners from the news I've heard. So even if I sadly can't get Kataya atleast I can maybe get the anniversary character :/ I wonder how generous the free pulls will be for the anniversary. This game does seem to follow genshin alot so hopefully they aren't to stingy with the rewards for the anni

@@brendonbewersdorf986 You're right they changed their minds and pity carry over for the anni banners so if you dont get katya at least youre close to getting an anni character. I have some faith in the devs that they wont be too stingy just cause they're way more generous than genshin with the amount of pulls you get especially considering the amount of time you have to put in to the game to get pulls.

@@unlimitoad that's true I'll have faith in them. I'll try to be cautiously optimistic. Hopefully the anniversary characters are good looking and offer good fanservice besides skins. I'm hoping they do some improvements to the dorms for the anniversary to! I wonder when we will hear more about their anniversary plans

@@brendonbewersdorf986 As the other peep in the thread said, farming pulls in Snowbreak is much easier than in Genshin. That combined with Anni giving us 30 free pulls from login awards IIRC, our 2nd free 5-star char, AND a free 5-star weapon selector for anything up to 1.6 version makes this MILES better than Genshin. Hoyo has no guaranteed banner as well need I remind you (only 50/50 over there.) *At launch,* and up until 1.7 Snowbreak's economy was more similar to Hoyoverse games. Now though? It's clear that aside from needing 160 premium currency for a pull, nothing else about the economy is the same.

Yeah man shes good and i definitely dont regret getting her on my main. Im hoping I can save enough anni but hopefully the rewards will be very good so I can get the character that I want.

​@@unlimitoadone issue is some people have said I'm not sure if it's true but they might be doing up to 4 character banners (2 new and 2 rerun) for the anniversary 🤔 so I really hope they don't get stingy with the rewards lol that's alot of pulls to have to save 😂

Katya is coming out in like 11 days from now. Im not sure about cherno but I would guess in about 2-3 months she should come back

I cant really comment on the story cause I just skipped everything. I think they did try to get the eng va's back but they all denied it cause of the fanservice and the devs couldnt find any replacement so for now I dont think eng is comming back

I think you can get around 90 summons every patch assuming you do everything so unless youre blessed by rng youre only getting one character a patch.

I think the new banner is for whales to just buy the characters basically is what I think 🤔 because while the guaranteed is really nice 100 pulls is A lot especially if your F2p. Then factor in reruns for each patch so you need about 200 pulls depending on your luck if you want Kataya and siris? That's alot 😭 it doesn't help they keep throwing 4-5 skins at us each patch and I don't have any of the characters the skins are for lol I'll have to see how this plays out in game im gonna try the 100 for Kataya and try my hardest to somehow get enough for her because she is a must have character if you want to do good in this game. I'll see if the 100 does good or not

I agree that 0.7 is very low thats kinda why I personally feel like the 100% is slightly better especially for people with luck like mine. If the rates were like 1% or higher then I feel like it would be a little closer. I usually get my five stars on the regular banner mostly late 60s and sometimes early 70s,I think I got 1 or 2 earlier but I cant remember my pulls from when I started the game.

@@brendonbewersdorf986 Yeah youre probably right that the new banner is definitely better for whales or even low spenders. F2P is a bit of a toss up depending on how each players summons are. Maybe its just how my katya is built, but I dont think shes a must have to do good in the game. I use her all the time but I can do just fine without her considering I have cherno and yao with her weapon.

@@unlimitoad yeah that sucks this banner doesn't seem like an upgrade id have been fine if they increased the pity but kept the rate because 1% is already extremely low. As for kataya she is a very strong DPS that makes a lot of the more tanky HP bloated bosses easier from what I've seen. I don't have her so I'm just going from what other people have told me. They tell me I gotta get her if I want to be able to take down harder bosses because her DPS is off the charts. I don't have cherno I wasted a lot of my saved pulls on her and got nothing lol. I really don't have any good dps besides fenny Coronet I can't comment on yao i don't have her upgraded at all.

I shouldnt be surprised that people were hyped for cherno cause I pulled her for that exact reason

@@unlimitoad That's good news. I saw someone pulling at exactly 80 on the 80 banner and I got concerned the devs had made it a rock and hard place situation between the 80 and 100 banners. I'm pulling on the 80 banner too and I'm at 42 now. Hoping that the drop will happen between the next 2 10pulls. But if I lose 50/50, I'm not pulling again. I like Siris but not enough to drain a huge chunk of savings before anniversary.

72 for me on 80 banner with guaranteed since lost last one, her weapon at like 65 or something (also 50% banner)

Im assuming the reason the average is somewhere between 85 and 95 is probably cause of soft pity assuming the banner has it. The 0.1% chance of pulling something before soft pity is definitely not ideal. I'm leaning a bit more in the direction of the guarantee banner being a bit more f2p friendly just because of the fact you get what you're looking for at 100 pulls instead of potentially going up to 160 to get the limited character. If the rates were like at least 1.0% on the 50/50 banner then I think I would be on the fence about it.

@unlimitoad - Yeah, it's a hard choice. Watching one UA-camr actually pulling Siris at exactly 90, has pushed me into leaning a little more towards 50/50. The game simply doesn't have enough purples available on F2P to take it to 85 and above (75 if you're very lucky), every single time. That's of course unless you've got a tonne of purples already saved up at event start. Maybe it's my insanely good luck in the previous event that's made me delusional but the odds on the 80 banner seems ever so slightly better.

@@MaxumeYeah i can see where your coming from. The 80 banner is better if you win the 50/50 or get 5 stars early but the 100 is better if you dont want to take the risk and tend to loose the 50/50 like me🤣

I agree I'm finding this new banner isn't really for f2p it's for whales to just buy the characters I think is my opinion. 100 pulls is a lot in this game you would be very lucky to get that many in 30 days for an update. But each update has 2 character banners so you really need 200 pulls per month. I'm confused how they are going to sell skins for characters if I can't even get the characters 😭 either lose the 50/50 or not have enough pulls for the 100 as F2P or spend my money on pulls not really happy with any of those options lol

@@brendonbewersdorf986 When I posted the comment I had my doubts but I'm now firmly in the 50/50 camp. The 100 banner is undoubtedly designed purely for the sake of whales and for roping other people into paying by using the "I'm almost there" carrot.

I'm also level 31 right now. I recently just learned about swap cancelling to maximize dps, and I thought it as complex already before knowing this 🤯 I'm blown away by how every single new thing adds a whole new layer or dimension to its gameplay complexity

@@unlimitoad Don't worry, I highly doubt my lucky streak of this current event will have staying power. It will probably take me all the way to 78 again and then reward me with yet another Yao on 50/50. I'm very interested to see how the new gacha system with guaranteed 100% will work though.

@@unlimitoad The patch notes from the day before yesterday actually explains the new gacha. There will be 2 banners; one for 50/50 and one for 100%. The 100% one guarantees the limited operative within 100 pulls. The 50/50 one works as always. Pulls that you make on the one cannot be transferred to the other. So, if you change your mind about which banner you chose, after you had already made a few pulls, you'll start on the other banner from the bottom. If you have pulls left at the end of the operative's period, those pulls will be transferred to the next operative's banner of the same kind.

I feel the same way.It seems to be doing good in china. Last month it made 2.2m in china and 500k globally so theres hope.

Honsetly im not sure,but if most the player base is on pc then maybe they would prioritize pc over mobile.

I kinda disagree, I think some people are just uncomfortable with fanservice and theres nothing wrong with that. I can understand just because I get a bit uncomfortable if its a little to much but im not gonna complain about it cause i can just ignore it. The only people who are unhinged imo are people who thinks no game should have fanservice and people who think that every game should have fanservice. Not every game needs it but theres nothing wrong with a game having it.

@@unlimitoad - Yeah, I usually get yet another Yao when I lose 50/50. When I see Yao's little emblem, I feel like screaming. In this event, however, I've been super lucky; pulled Cherno at the 2nd 10pull and her weapon with one 10pull and 6 singles (on Cherno's weapon, the count was already up from the previous event so that wasn't a surprise) But Tess on the 1st pull was totally alien to me.
