From 3:31 to 3:40 no one was flying the plane. I think my sugar got low, I lost my vision and nearly went down. When you see the camera drop that is when I nearly went down but I came back to an aware state. I had messed up vision but was able to get it on the ground safely. Doctor visit coming up tomorrow to get checked out.

FMS F-16 64MM Maiden Off Grass Strip with no steering

Maiden flight of this F16 64mm jet, I accidently stripped the nose gear steering so I just aimed the plane down the runway for maiden. All other flights after this one was no gear with hand launch and belly landings. I prefer no gear, this plane is a easy hand toss.

Freewing Eurofighter 90mm 8S. I have struggled with this plane, she is just to heavy in the nose and I cant seem to get the landing down. 5 0z of lead on the very tail end of the plane but she still flys nose heavy and the battery only fits in one spot.

The Mirage is such a blast to fly, I am having some nose gear issues but its worth the fight to be able to fly a plane like this one.

I don’t have my radio on me but I do remember I had to dial down the ailerons a lot. It’s a handful on the maiden.

The Eurofighter is to nose heavy on the stock CG marks on the wings.. 25/30mm behind the CG marks seems to be the sweet spot.. I've done a battery tray mod to get the lipo further back ..similar as John at two brothers RC on UA-cam.. mite be worth a look at that video

After flying the F22 I would put it first followed by the Cougar. Both are awesome!

Naw, it is the version 2 I believe. I bought it a few months before the latest release.

Just know that if you fly off grass you will have to hand launch. The gear cannot take grass. I forgot to say 4S 2200 on the battery. I tried a 2600 but it was just to heavy so stick with a 2200

The front wheels are very small and they dig into the grass. Aside from that the plane is fantastic in the sky. One of my favs
@@braddarnell2498 Thanks I know its on my list for my next edf just redid a FreeWing F-16 Falcon upgrade it from 64m 4s to a 70mm 6s and she a screamer now having fun with the edf still new to them

Paducah, KY. The Ohio River is about a mile away and S. Illinois is just across the river.

I agree it’s a very nice flying airplane. Two of my jet buddies at my field have them and like you say they usually bring their Avanti out to start the day.

I have 4 flights on my Raptor and it is awesome. It’s expensive but worth it.
Thanks for taking the time and posting up this video. LOL, yeah the price is high. I'm guilty I purchased two of these LOL. No one said this hobby is cheap. I look at it this way...... I recently had to replace the battery in my newer 5 series BMW. I bought a new battery from the BMW dealership and had them register the battery to the car. It cost me a little less to do that compared to the cost of this jet (without battery & receiver). To put it into perspective, you could buy a decent sized Big Green Egg for the same amount of money it costs to buy this aircraft, throw in the rx and three flights worth of quality batteries. She's a great flyer though. I thoroughly enjoy flying mine.

I'm on the fence between this beautiful Freewing F-22, and the Freewing L-39 Albatros Camo High Performance 80mm EDF. Honestly, I want them both!!! I currently have a E-flight Viper 90mm (not really enchanted with it for some reason, fly's like a commercial jet with winglets and a big leaf blower attached) and an Avanti S V1 80mm, and Avanti Red V2 80mm -- the Avanti is by far my favorite EDF, at this time.
I wish I could help but I haven’t flown either of those yet. I put off the F22 for a long time and looking forward to getting the maiden in tomorrow. I’ve seen the Viper in person and it flys good but honestly I’m personally not into sport jets. I prefer the warbirds for some reason. If I was to get one though it would be the Avanti for sure.
Very good. And like you say, the F-22 is a wonderful everyday flyer, a bit pricy ~$700 once you throw in an AR637T and a remote receiver $45. But, you only live once...
Phillips will not buy a plane for review. Not sure how much he reinvest in his channel but I doubt we will ever see anything that’s not “provided” for reviews.

Have you tried high alpha in safe mode (wing leveling mode)?
I have not, I’m new with this jet. Had bad experience trying to take off of grass. This plane is 100 percent a hand launcher. With the safe mode it isn’t to hard to do, I built a little handle/skid for the bottom to have something to grip to toss. It flies great but no wheels up wheels down on grass.

That was not a "BUMP" that was callen an environmental assist........LOL . The lighter battery is a big help also. Constant battle between flight time and weight. I like seeing that AMA number there. I need to get more stickers done for me.
