@@RGdesignapparel Thank you so much! Sometimes life gets in the way and you forget about the blessings right in front of you. I needed to hear that.
Did you print the shirt you have on? Also, would you recommend the 12 x 15 or the 15 x 15 heat press?
@@beast-mode115 Hello thank you for watching. Yes I printed the shirt I have on. I would suggest 15x15. 12x15 would be limiting when pressing larger garments.
You're video was so easy to follow! I tried to upload an imagine to my cricut design space, but i never got the choice to select complex. It just uploads. Do you know why that nay be?
@@AngelaMartinez-b4t IT may be the update. I was just using it and didn't pay attention. I'm going to look and come back.
@@AngelaMartinez-b4t So I just tried to upload an image and I believe the version of Cricut i had at the time of the video was old. The new version has a different layout and verbiage when uploading images. They reduce colors and color tolerance now.
I only buy from hobby lobby or Michales if I really need something in a hurry , but *8.49 is there a shipping cost , I bought 3 ft on ebay for $15.87 great video by the way thanks
Yes there are shipping costs. Not sure what they are off the top of my head but alot of the warehouses I order from have offers if you purchase a certain amount you get free shipping. Also I've learned since then that Amazon sellers provide good deals. I've gotten several within 15-20ft for like 12.99+
What is illustrator?
Adobe Illustrator is design software.
What is PPD Transfer paper?
@@CarolFuller-d5r It's a printable paper that is used to iron-on garments.

Can I get one on one classes with you?My class is not about DKQ
What's DKQ?
What size tumbler will it sublimate, length and is it for the regular or skinny size?
I've used it for 20oz and 25oz tumblers. However it doesn't fit completely around them. You'll have to rotate the tumbler several times to ensure a conplete press.
Where did you order the machine from?
@@afiasylarh3653 Hello the link is in the description. Thank you for watching.
what printer or app did you use to print the bear on the vinyl (sheet)
@@TeresaCopeland-Smith I used a Canon desktop printer. Nothing fancy just a regular home inkjet printer. And I bought a package of png teddy bears a while back. Not sure where I printed it. Possibly adobe illustrator or cricut design space. However you don't need either. When you click to view your images just choose to print from there and adjust size in printer settings.
This was awesome 👏🏾

I just ordered my prints. 170pcs prints for 44$ shipping to alaska from TKO 😢. That’s second day shipping i am paying… good for bulk orders but for small business like me not too good. Any recommendations for small orders printing sites?
Maybe Etsy or Ninja Transfers. I am not certain what the shipping costs are to Alaska tho.

Canon ts version. Just a regular inkjet.
U had to cut them out as well or them the hearts
No those were the hearts. The transfers came ready to press.
I AM NEW-how do you be able to use the Nike trademark and then print it? One video on yt warned about using other copyrighted and trademark.
Yes you have to be careful using trademarked brands. However I didn't sell it. It was for personal use.
@@AustinsLab_ Thanks-so that is the advantage of being exposed to this. I personally find it hard to find 6xl suppliers-any suggestions.lol Thanks

You're welcome I'm glad I could help. Let me know if you have any questions.
It was a great tutorial but you did not include that we need parchment paper as well. For someone that is brand new they won’t know to use parchment paper. Overall it was a good tutorial
You're right I didn't mention it thanks. I showed it in the video but yes someone new might miss that step. Also the PPD Transfer paper has clear instructions inside along with a piece of parchment paper. Thank you so much or watching and feedback.
what printer settings did you use?
I'm not sure exactly it's been a while. But normally I leave it as is. If I see in the print preview something is off then I adjust accordingly. Check out my first video I think I mentioned it in that one.
2024 and I'm watching for the first time with my 📓 and 🖊. I really hope to get started tonight!
Yaaayyy! Let me know if you have any questions
does it matter what type of printer you have?
As long as it's an inkjet you'll be fine. Not for sublimation ink tho.
Thanks! This was a very good instructional video ❤
Thank you so much for watching
I dont have a cricut but someone told me i can still use Design Space...i tried this and its saying i need to have one connected in order to print...help pls lol
No you don't have to be connected to print. I do this all the when I just want to print a photo to cut by hand. When you upload it, proceed to make. Then the print to cut will appear. Click on send to printer. It's free software.
what heat press are you using please
Hello. It's a Vevor. I made a video about it here ua-cam.com/video/71fGF6Wvg1U/v-deo.htmlsi=jPb0jd_WRGQTYfyo
Hello, ordered this a few days ago, to just use as a heat press for some embroidery things. Was youtubin and ur channel popped up, watched and enjoyed the tutorial… now I don’t think I need the instructions 😊 How has it worked out for you so far? Thanks
Oh that's great! Thank you so much for watching. It's working good. No issues!
So do you print the same size for all shirts??? Seems like it would look funny.
For the majority of the shirts yes. In most cases if I have kid sizes I do those in house with vinyl or I make a gang sheet. With the gang sheet I can upload the artwork in multiple sizes.
I use a standard size so that it doesn't look too big on smaller sizes and too small on larger sizes.
Hey Ashley, When you upload your artwork for single color, they make you select a color instead of using the color on the image of your upload?
Hey hey! Yes. If its a basic color like black white green etc... you just select it. And if you're familiar with the pantone color codes that would help you. They list alot of the colors with the pantone code. If you want a custom color you have to select custom color and provide the pantone color code.
@@AustinsLab_Much appreciated and hoping you have continued success....

you mentioned, "if something is wrong, i want them to contact me directly and i will make the change"... along those lines. i am here trying to start my own small business, but i am not familiar with if i am going to do the lineup correctly for printing. Is contacting someone before their print something they do?
Hey I'm sorry I thought I responded to you. By line up, do you mean setting up your artwork for uploading and print on the site? So for example they've contacted me before because I sent them the png file instead of a vector file (svg, pdf,ai) and it wasn't the best quality for print. So they revised it as a courtesy and let me know and asked if I wanted to proceed with the changes. I should have said that in the video because now that I've gone back and fully read the email at the very bottom it definitely says ONE TIME EXCEPTION.
@@AustinsLab_ hello! no worries, i appreciate the response of that information! good to know to double check the file is being sent as svg, pdf or ai! as i mentioned, im just starting so im trying to get as much information before the attempt. thanks again!
how long did it take for yours to completely heat up?
Honestly I've never paid attention, lol. I usually turn it on when I'm almost done weeding or prepping. It doesn't take a long time. I don't leave from around it because as soon as I would walk downstairs I'd hear it beeping, lol.
Also thank you so much for watching. Do you have the same one?
