My name is Arnold, a.k.a. Carnold. On my channel you can follow my car projects and watch car reviews. The star of this channel is my 1994 Lexus LS400 and the starlet - literally - is my 1994 Toyota Starlet. Both are project cars which I want to get into the best shape possible. I also do car reviews: Real Life Car Reviews, I focus on the Japanese and Korean brands.
I work in automotive, but mostly on the theoretical side. Every now and then I like to get my hands dirty. So, amateur mechanic it is. The main subject on this channel is my Lexus LS 400, but I also show other stuff that keeps me occupied. Like engine repairs, my job and some occasional non-car related things. Mash Fifty quality issues and 25.000 km maintenance

My Mash Fifty reached 25.000 kilometers recently and it needed some maintenance. In this video I'll talk you through the quality of the bike, the issues I had and I'll do some basic maintenance. Even though the Toyota Yaris is only 4 years old, Toyota did a thorough update on this very succesful model. The interior electronics got updated, as did the safety systems. Quick update on the engine overhaul I did recently: the engine failed after only 400 kilometers. The cause? A poor quality head gasket. This is how you can prevent it from happening to you!
