Well, we went there for the first time and we managed to visit it during a fashion show.... wasn't much impressed by that either. But the interior of the building itself is very beautiful, shame that it was covered with all of that 😶

@querforceone8940 We did it as well. Actually, that was the first hike PR8, and on the 3rd day, we went for PR1. Both are very beautiful trails

He has very sensitive skin and allergic to all whitening shampoos... unfortunately... so can only use baby shampoo. And he is already 10 years old - tried many things

​@@VPtravel Yeeeaaah was gonna say this. Some dogs it's better to let them be stained and happy than sparkling with a skin infection.

@VPtravel aw bless him I'm a groomer and iv dealt with numerous westys with terrible skin I couldn't recommend groom professional argon oil conditioner enough! Had dogs come in red raw itchy and it's done them wonders. It'll help put some moisture in after the baby shampoo too 😊🫶

Oh yes, there is plenty of people around all the time, but yes, we have managed to wait until we catch a more quiet moment. But it wasn't too crowded, maybe we were lucky to avoid it. Plus as well, we had 7 days to explore it :)))

Hello :) It depends where you stay, car is not necessary (Funchal - here you could use public transport or go with a tours) , but I would say renting a car is more comfortable way of travelling and cheaper. You could go where you want and when you want. Roads is pretty good (mostly through the tunnels). We have stayed in Calheta and from there you have access to any point of the island (like being in centre). We stayed in All inclusive hotel for us was no extra expenses at all. We used to come back even for lunch if needed. Car rental was probably £350 with all insurance for 7 days. Hotel £1k for 7 nights for couple. But in Calheta or surrounded little towns you could get something half price using airbnb. It was our honeymoon so we allowed us a bit bigger budget. To be honnest if you rent a car you can stay anywhere you want. But yes, Madeira is a must for everyone to visit :). P. S. leave it for warmer months. Locals said that winter there is freezing even if it shows +15
