Be sure to subscribe for Episode 4, where I swap the brake and levers, install a new master cylinder, and flush the brake fluid.

Just bought a 2009 Ninja 250 with 10k miles for 2800$ I can't wait to ride her
Cool bike and cat
Kudos, Edmond, for: Choosing an older bike like the Yamaha XS. Usually guys your age go with a 600 cc sport bike. I am glad to see it's not just us old guys that like to keep vintage bikes on the road. Second, for going ahead with the recommissioning without a full-zoot bike repair shop in your garage. Working on the floor, using what tools you have, just getting it done. You da man!
Nice View
Yo necesito los carburadores doblé cilindros para la Yamaha XS 650
That's smooth
I just found a scarlet red one that has been sitting in a barn for the last 45 years. Ive already starting cleaning it up and getting ready to start it. The white is nice too. I think the right person would pay over 5 or 10k. The wrong person will offer you maybe 1k. Dont rush selling it
Shit I paid 300 for mine it don’t run so idk I’ve heard they are good investments if you want to fix up or restore one
Looks like the nicest road in Lithuania
Mine was a 1979 and it was so baddd thr oil looked like venom
Do you not weigh your coffee? How do you grind the correct amount for the basket?

You haven’t been to England 🥴
Lol thats nothing
Brilliant . A how to video from a bloke who uses a pipe wrench to undo a sump plug on a motorcycle. Have i jumped out too soon ? Is this a joke? Not going to bother with the next video unless he relabels it how NOT to be a mechanic. No gear and no idea either. God only knows what damage lays ahead for this bike if this guy keeps it much longer. I feel sorry for the bike.
I felt like I had to respond. Nowhere did I say I was a mechanic, I was just documenting a process in which I learned everything from scratch. I certainly found out there are wrong ways to do things, like what you mentioned, and that's part of my learning process! And yes, I have gear. I didn't even take the bike on a spin yet by this point. Why would I wear gear while changing oil, lol? Certainly if you have more experience working on bikes this would seem silly but that's not the point of this video. Thanks for watching.
Awesome bike ... Simple , honest workhorse. Just picked on up from the Bronx from an elderly gentleman. Missing some parts unfortunately but I mind it not since the price was right. Enjoy riding it , u got a piece of Honda motor history there...
Hah, I had one of these some years ago, 600 bucks and it ran. Ive had a lotta streetbikes, the XS so far was the worst by a mile. Really slow, really vibrated and buzzed, crap for brakes, horrible suspension, heavy enough to be a 4 cylinder. But they sorta look like an old triumph.
Try uk roads a lot worse 😂
Memphis laughs
That’s nothing compared to to Philly pot holes
Just a hint. Put the tank on a rag when are working on it to stop damage

Great work Eddie! Keep it up!
I was super pumped for when it fired up! Congrats!
