I'm an ontario grouse hunter as well. First - great review! Seems the vest generally works well, except the water holders seem sort of small. If you were to buy a vest again, would you choose something else? If so, which vest? Many thanks!

I purchased a pair of these gloves last year. I've used them in snow, rain, work, chopping wood, and burning brush. They are the worst gloves ever. I even water proofed them and they were cold in snow. They were wet when raining and hot when grabbing a log in the fire. I don't know if all the different styles are like this but in my opinion not worth the money at all! I bought a cheap $20 carheart gloves for this season and they are much better quality.

Like a Galapagos of the North Atlantic….would like to be there now in the cool breeze! Low thirties today…too hot for me!

They are too spongy in the extreme summer heat. The foam, and blown rubber sole feel like they are melting on the blacktop. I use a harder rubber compound shoe in the summer . These Excel in the winter as shown in the video. The traction is great. waterproof and surprisingly warm

I was amazed to see in the end of the video it was the I first chose is the best. Just because it is expensive doesn't mean it is a better product.I was going to buy a tag light at $30.00 but after seeing this video the one I had was the better choice. Thanks for saving me $30.

0:24 That hoodie is horrendous for rain or stormy weather. Even if the jacket is 100% waterproof, the amount of water that hoodie will let in... just terrible flaw. You'll find that out quite soon if you ever walk a few hours in a storm or heavy downpoor. Thanks for the video, it really helped me stay away from that jacket. My current TNF jacket neither has a good hoodie design (also too big, yet not as big). The search continues...

When you say the jacket works on its own down to the freezing mark, in your experience is that when active or at rest?
