@@CornishFishingTales-dc4rwawesome 👍,when the water is too rough,I usually use a small lead sinker infront of my lure ,so that there's added weight and I can work my way in the water 💦. Beautiful country you have bro,may I ask which country is this?

@@CornishFishingTales-dc4rw Thanks for info im in Ireland i also fish same conditions use a slightly more heavier sgs8 18/56gm with Penn 3500 had the the 42 before but the 56 stronger in the butt end still a light rod though.

Nice mate that sounds like a nice rod with the extra beef you can bully them out a bit easier and use heavier lures in big surf I'm thinking of getting a heavier rod for that reason tight lines bro 🎣

I got to I use a 3500 on me penn conflict 50g inshore and 2500 on the shimano enjoy the bike rides mate and tight lines 🎣

Newish mate I bought a shimano van ford which is my main shore fishing reel now this is another penn spinfisher for the kayak but this one is a size smaller than the one I use with my penn conflict rod it just suits this rod better for a second rod on kayak tight ones bro 👍

@@Kernow-Bass yeah I see about that before, however go on you tube and search dangers of wearing waders and watch the American guy he has a wader belt on and he tests it in a swimming pool. It's scary how his legs get lifted and he's fighting them coming up, if that happened on the north coast most of the time you'd be a goner with the rips and waves you wouldn't be able to keep head up at least with the life jacket on you got half a chance of head stsyimg up out water, also I don't ever wear them at deep water marks stage safe bro and cheers for the tip 🎣💪👍

Yes life jacket is another important piece of equipment and yes waders can be dangerous especially on the north coast I don't wear them at deeper water marks and if I do I always wear a life jacket as you say cheers Daniel for the comments mate 👍 tight lines 🎣

@@CornishFishingTales-dc4rw Your secret is safe with me - I grew up in that area, used to bait fish from the other side of the beach from the cliff top beyond the pub (won’t name it!). I recognised the island immediately and believe it or not I recognised the slope on the slate rocks! Great videos that I really appreciate now I’ve had to move away - tight lines mate.

Yeah I know mate at the mo it's best I can do I'm fishing and filming at same time the places I fish are pretty remote and involve climbing ropes etc so I like to keep stuff I carry to a minimum also I can see me losing the go pro to waves on a tripod. When I've got a bit more money I hope to invest in a second camera and some kind of mount so I can have another angle but for the time being please bear with me it's the best I can do. Cheers mate and yes I do I have just upgraded from studs in boots to the snowbee rockhopper 35 studs in each neoprene boot they are amazingly good so good you have to be careful not to rely on them too much tight lines mate 👍
