the water bottle is fire. I take it everywhere i go and i can drink from sus water sources without having an irritated ass throat the day, which used to happen to me all the time; Then i got the bottle and it feels like my life has been changed. I js have a really weak immune system and need to constantly take vitamin c and d3, and eat a lot of steak for b12. Worth my high school chick fil a money though fasho.

Here’s how I think about the filter, its related drinking inconvenience and additional cost based on my own setup.. I usually fill the bottle from the fridge, which has its own water filter already.. so I don’t need another filter inside the bottle. However, the filter still is a good option if you camp, travel abroad, etc. In these scenarios, cost and drinking inconvenience are reasonable compared to the benefits.

Two oservations from the video: - I think you may find it harder to control the Phillips because you were moving it quiet a lot. I think you should use it similar to a toothbrush by holding it still at points along the shoe and letting the cleaner do the rotation of the brush. Also it seems like the Phillips does not spash foam all over the place after a short moment, so the initial spashing may have been due to using too much foam. - I think you would have to pay 50-100% more for the cleaner if it had a rechargeable battery and charging circuit. So I actually think it's better they kept the price lower, at the "expense" of having to use batteries. If you want, you can buy rechargeable AA batteries for it.

Great review. You discussed some things that other reviewers didn’t. I would be using this bottle primarily for travel and have 2 questions. 1. With the lid closed, the bottle completely leak proof? I have bottles leak when fill on the ground when they get up in the air. 2. When you use it in chug mode does it still log how much you drink and does the lid get in the way of chugging? Thanks!!

Love the flip lid. With v1, it’s hard to use while driving as I have to use both hands to open the lid. Now I can flick it open with one finger 👌👍

I want to thank you for being the only Larq PureVis 2 reviewer that thought to mention the fact that the filters must be replaced --- and FREQUENTLY!!!! I was almost ready to purchase one until your review stopped me. Thanks for mentioning the "obvious." It's easy to get caught up in the "hype" of new products and forget that most makers ALWAYS are planning on how to keep you coming back and spending more money over and over again. I understand a filter needs to be changed. It is what it is.

This is very expensive to buy it. I won’t consider to buy just a water bottle if it cost more than $25

Great review! I agree that it's hard to drink through the straw; it's actually easier to drink a milk shake through a straw. I also like to chug my water and having to basically suck so hard to drink is a non-starter for me. I typically use Nalgene bottles, which are sturdy enough, have large caps (which allow me to chug) and are dishwasher safe. The Larq bottle also does NOT keep water cold, and clearly has little or no insulation despite Larq's claims. I have not noticed any reminders to drink, but that may be because my bottle was sitting where the opening obscured the light. I think Larq might be worth bringing when camping or spending time outdoors away from civilization, but not really worth it at home. Thanks for posting this video!

Your video showed me that there was nothing wring with the lining and it was just painted over! I just did mine and took about an hour but soooo happy with the outcome. Thank you!

I just got one last night and really enjoy it. I agree if you don't use the straw it's not really worth it and maybe the normal pure vis would be better and cheaper. I don't mind the straw and love how the app can integrate with apple health.

What would you recommend the 1L or 680ml version in terms of every day use, fitting in vehicle cup holders, bags, exercise equipment and just carrying it around?

Why is the camera not on the backpack the whole time? We are just seeing you most of the time as you pull stuff out of your bag. We want to see how the items are stored INSIDE the backpack as the video progresses.
