I have used way too much of both at this point, but id have to say keyboard. it feel much less slippery and allows for more precise and advanced input. If you need you can rebind everything on keyboard to more common controls.

@@SevenRedSunsOfficial after a whole lot of trial and error, I have ended up using the stick with the sensitivity increased, a slight movement of the stick in any direction results in a full press in that direction. It's the best feel I have had between all three control methods I've tried. I definitely can't do the keyboard

@@SevenRedSunsOfficial I don't think this game actually has analog stick control. What I mean is, there are only actually four directional inputs (or two at a time such as up right) and it's either on or off. You have to move the stick 3/4 toward the stop to get input. I Have it set to give that same input at 1/4 stick input. The result is more input given more often with less effort, which translates the slugcat doing more of what I expect without feeling like I'm mashing the stick all the time especially noticeable when climbing/ grabbing poles and ledges. I find the d-pad to be tiring especially when using the up direction

@@kyledupont7711 I havent tried analog stick on pc, but something to remember is that analogue stick controls how you contort and flip your body, less so which direction you move. it is much closer to 8 directional than full 360 tho yes.

yes actually, Ive considered doing youtube again but its gotten really rough and im not sure I want to sink a ton more time into it. i kinda just want to make silly stupid stuff like this.
