Sickle Cutter
Переглядів 8 тис.4 роки тому
This is my hydraulic sickle bar cutter like a giant hedge trimmer for my tractor. I mount it to my bucket and drive around my fields and roadsides and keep the jungle from taking over my farm. It's only used once or twice a year, but it is a nice little implement to have.
Splitting Giant Rounds
Переглядів 24 роки тому
I harvested a large fallen maple tree. The rounds were too big to position on my splitter so I had to place them on blocks using my grapple and then back my 3-point splitter under the wood.

    I have one and am not too impressed. Vibration issues have resulted in some small bolts and plastic bushings failing after not many hours of use.

    Would you recommend this unit. I am looking to cut brush along a ATV trail. I have 43 km both sides. Not all of trail needs done but a good percentage of it

    Is this made by John Deere? What's the item make and model?

    Neat rig. Someone mentioned $500 to get hoses, so real cost is closer to $2,500 with the heavier mounting bracket. Definitely considering it.

    Nice! Thinking about buying one. Wondering if I can use my 3rd function ports to power it?

    I use this on my JD 1025R. It's well worth the money

      did you add the third function and if you did how does it do ? would being able to tilt the bucket make much of a difference?

    • @rossbeverley6458
      @rossbeverley6458 2 роки тому

      @@anthonymorrison2167 no. I'm using the existing hydraulics for the front loader, so when I have the cutter running, I can't tilt the bucket. So far that's not an issue.
