Dogs, Nature, and the Journey to Inner Peace
For a long time, my happiness and success were measured by careers, visible achievements, and expensive possessions. But over the last five years, that perspective changed completely. My dogs became part of this awakening journey. I realized that true happiness comes from within-and it's found in love. Real, fulfilling love. This is now what defines happiness for me.
Today, we’re heading out for our Sunday walk to the beach. There’s nothing more beautiful than spending time with those you love in nature.
My dogs helped me discover these moments of presence, encouraging me to step outside and explore places I probably wouldn’t have gone to without them. Cherish your pets, be with them, and enjoy the time you have together.
I’m deeply grateful for these moments with them, and I live them fully every day. I’m thankful for their gentleness, their remarkable intelligence, and their endless affection. I truly believe that we can find beauty and love in everything, and I believe that dogs have a way of guiding us to rediscover the missing pieces of something deep inside us.
🐾 Thank you for watching and for taking the time to hear some of the thoughts I’ve shared here.
❤️ Wishing you a wonderful time, no matter where in the world you are.

There are two simple secrets to winning your dog's heart: love and play! Weekends are when we do something extra special, and today, I want to take you to one of our favorite spots. It's not just special for us, but for our Giant Schnauzers too. It’s where they first met the ocean, got used to the waves, and developed a hilarious obsession with chasing seagulls! 😅 p.s. I never imagined it would...

Thank you for sharing your magnificent, feisty, beautiful Giant Schnauzers. I had many G.S's. over the years, showed some, and trained them all, some not so much.😉, but each worth the expense, time invested. They gave me back so very much more. Each Giant was different from one another, a variety of personalities they had, a few keeping me on my toes, and one or two driving me crazy. My last Giant had to be put down in 2009. Due to health and financial insecurity I knew I would never have the privilege of owning another Giant. Watching your videos, hearing your story, makes me smile and yes drop a few tears remembering my wonderful black bearded furry friends. Thank you.
😍😍😍 how fun!
Continue! 👍🏻🐕
I really enjoyed this video. I’m still debating what kind of dog I want but this video helped me put giant schnauzers higher on my list
Thank you for your comment ❤️ Wish you find a great option for your family!
Who makes that purple ring. Our giant shreds everything
Do not remember to be honest ... Ah, this purple puller we use only when we go to play outside, and it's already misses some parts 😂 If we leave Arny with it for 20 min it will gone. The only toys which are able to survive for 3-6 months - from Kong brand, black super strong balls, bones, kongs.
I love Giant Schnauzers, the most amazing, smartest and loyal dog breed ever. That includes, of course, the Mini Schnauzer and the Standard Schnauzer. These two beautiful puppies are having a great time at the beach, so nice to see dog parents taking care of their dogs properly.
❤️
💕
Black standard poodles were one of the two main breeds used to make the standard schnauzer.
Good remark, the second breed was a doberman if I remember correctly
@@my.giant.schnauzers The second primary breed was a German Wolfspitz. The standard schnauzer has been around for several centuries. These two breeds were added in the past couple of centuries to give them a gray or salt and pepper color coat. In short, to standardize the coat color and texture to help against natural elements. Different breeds were more recently added to create the miniature schnauzer, giant schnauzer, and black Russian terrier breeds.
💕
I have a giant snoodle, Giant schnauzer standard poodle mix she reminds me so much of your dogs. Also extremely smart thanks for your video I love it.
Thank you so much for your comment ❤
Can they work really good like gds
I believe they do with proper training, this breed is used as working dogs for police and army, but since they are heavier (weight) they a bit less jumpy and agile.
@@my.giant.schnauzers yours are pretty beautiful i doubt they are from working lines
@@rugbystories3344 Mine are probably not 😄At least their parents were not working dogs. But in general, this breed has such potential.
@@my.giant.schnauzers I want to start a breeding program. Been saving and learning for a while now. I prefer working dogs it's easier to find a working shepherd, i want to breed dogs that can win igp word championships
Lovely...miss my Giants!
wow what a journey. I thought about getting a second GS. but we are worried about having a second dog that might affect COTA.
Heello Cota and Cota's owner! I understand, had similar fears. It's like a lottery, you never know how it is going to be with a new puppy 😅 But after 6 months in case of Syd and Arny everything went well, super happy that they have each other.
this video is perfect!! thank you so much for so much for this video! I cant wait to get my Giant!!😁😁
Wish you all the best with you Giant ❤️
Thank you for the origin story. Enjoy watching you four.
Thank you Gregory ☺️
They need fatty meat not processed garbage. Mine have never been sick and lived to be 20.
We all are free to make any decision, so happy about your dogs and your approach :)

I love it I've got one myself his name is Maximus enjoy they're a great company companion thanks Ted
Dope video. Is that a male and female GS?
Thanks, it’s two males, male with orange colar is 2.5 years older than blue one
Great dogs!! Where r you from? You have very Russian accent.
Yes! It’s my mother-tong
I have not been able to understand the mutilation of ears and tail (for aesthetics?...) can someone explain to me what function it has?... if Giant Schnauzers are spectacular and beautiful as they are... Fortunately in my country there is a law that consider these practices animal cruelty 🐕
I understand your point of view and respect it, but in my our case it is how it is. There is a lot of information around in this regard and reasoning. Mostly it is more about aesthetics, but positive sides can be considered as reducing chances of ears infections and reducing the risks of tail damage. Though, it’s a choice of the owner with the regulation of the country law to choose whether go for it or not. The most important is to provide a safe and loving environment with great amount of exercises for the dog 🐶
@@my.giant.schnauzers Hello, I really don't want to have controversies that may not convince you of something that for me is real, if you consider what you should do with your pets, the reality is that I can't do anything to avoid it, much less convince you, but I do want to. To tell you that the arguments you give to justify your procedure do not have any scientific basis or a serious or extensive study that supports it, it is only an aesthetic issue imposed by breeders or some dog clubs, although the practice has been known since the Roman Empire to finish my topic without want to bother you, we humans have this habit of modifying and controlling nature sometimes just for our delight, and we do not let it itself, its wisdom, create or eliminate what it considers necessary or unnecessary... by miracle it still allows us to have a brain...🤣🤣🤣
Hello, I see your point of view. Hence, no reason to keep this conversation going. Thanks for your input though!
Great job giving ur older boy space from that playful pup definitely would have lost his patience. Great fur parents

Hi can you tell me the style of cropped ears your dogs have, we are getting a giant schnauzer puppy and we are getting his ears cropped. Thank you
I believe in case of our puppy it called Tall Ears cropping. All the best with your future adventures with your puppy ❤️
Did you consider crate training right away to prevent the peeing accidents altogether?
I do think that this is a great practice, honestly! But since we live in the house with yard I thought that there is not a need for crate. Also, with my first giant schnauzer - Arny, we never had such issues. He learned quite fast that he needs to “show” that he wanna pee and we let him go out. Maybe in total he did it 4-5 times at home his first week with us. With Sydney it was a completely different story. He drinks a lot of water, since the first day till now. As a puppy Sydney drank twice more than Arny and he was not able to hold it more than an hour after drinking. When he reached 7 months old, problem disappeared.
best dogs ever! Got an old 12.5 year old boy at the tail end of his life but what a dog he's been!
I've immediately subscribed and added to my lists!!! I used to have a mini schnauzer and have been looking to move into Portgual. I put those two into google and this AMAZING video came up! Thank you!
Thank you for your comment! Happy you found it helpful:) wishing you all the best in moving to Portugal with your mini schnauzer ❤️ if you will be looking for a groomer, let me know, we found a good one who is specialised in this breed
Enjoy watching these two playing. The font size was too small for me to read. Also like seeing what Portugal looks like. My chesador has had eight ticks so far this year. I see many more on long blades of grass laying in wait. It must be a side effect of climate change. I watch animal videos around the world and the animals seem to have them more this year.
Thank you so much for your comment 😊 Actually, it’s a good idea to keep font bigger and more readable for, thank you for sharing. With ticks … yea, seems that something is changing. I’m observing this year that ticks became smaller in their size, therefore, it’s much more of them this season..
Wonderful video! Love watching these two play. Thank you. If you have issues with ticks or other bugs, you can try using coconut oil. Brush some into their coats before walks in areas with ticks. Our veterinarian was the one who suggested it. If they lick some off, that's okay too because it's supposed to be good for their skin if they eat it. Seems to work for our Giant.
Hey, thank you for the tip! Coconut oil, it is also going to smell nice. Will try to do it next time we go to the forest :) Yea, it's a big problem with ticks in our area
@@my.giant.schnauzers гвоздичное масло, капаю прямо на ошейник. У нас много в этом году клещей.

Beautiful dogs! I love the giants! I’ve had 2, 1male, 1female, both lived to age 12
Thanks for the video
Why didn’t he learn as a pup?
Never had a chance to do it :)
❤️🌞👍👍👍
Appreciate the reminder. Occasionally, COTA can be quite playful. It's important to recall that the typical lifespan of a large dog is around 10 years. Every moment, whether pleasant or challenging, deserves to be treasured.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Your comment resonates deeply. Welcoming a large dog into your life indeed brings about significant changes, both wonderfully enriching and occasionally daunting. Personally, I can relate to the struggle of adjusting to the messiness that comes with rainy days and forest walks, particularly in the initial stages. It's a constant battle against dirt and cleaning, isn't it? 😅 I'm curious, what was the most challenging adjustment you faced with Cota?
